HE DID IT!!!!!!!!!

Well we have finally recovered from meeting Lenny and going to the Arboretum with him and Toffee and Riley. We still really can't believe we met him!!!! Well, you know Archie has been going to the chiropractor and he is getting so much better!! He is almost ready to go up stairs again( yep they still carry him!!!) Remember a post I did a while ago about about me and PL2 going to our 2cd favorite place( next to our Arboretum) called Jamaca Pond??? And it was just the 2 of us and maybe I wicked missed Archie being with us (just alittle) Well TODAY was Archies day!!! He FINALLY was able to go around Jamaca Pond again!!(It had been a bit of a walk and it was just a bit too much for him) WELL NOT ANY MORE I AM HERE TO SAY!!!!!! He went around it for the first time in months!!!!!!!

Since he hadn't been here in awhile he had to reclaim it...(this is the end of an action shot shall we say??)

It was looking especially pretty today JUST FOR ARCHIE!!!!

This Mom duck even paraded her babies in front of us to welcome him back!

Ah it is so peacefull......

He loves this part because sometimes you can see an albino squirrel here( who did not surprisingly enough come to say hello to the greatest squirrel hunters in the Boston area...)

Doesn't he look (as we say in these parts) WICKED HAPPY!!!!!

Here he is walking along..He is soooo ahppy to be here that he forgot he usually tries to break up the duck/geese parties that occur......

We did pop our feet in the water and were about to take a swim but the Park Ranger came flying over and said that we couldn't go in.WHAT I screamed..after all these months of not taking a dip you won't let him in???? he said people had been fishing there and there were fish hooks in there....Arch and I and PL2 flew out of there. PL1 said he thought it was malarkey and what about all the ducks??shouldn't they be worried about them>>Hmmm good point..PL2 felt so sorry for us and it was sooo hot she filled up our pool..or tried to.The water pressure was so low we got sick of waiting and just washed our feet....
Here I am just being reallly happy that it was a lovely day and my goof ball brother(did I say that out loud?) is able to walk around one of our favorite places!!!!!!

Oh! How exciting! I am so happy for you...what's next? The little trek from Hopkinton to the Pru??

How is Archie feeling today?

Go Arch Go! That is so cool. I sure wish I was there and could have gone swimming too. I think that park ranger was full of hooey. I would have carried you both on my back to keep your little tootsies safe. Alas, I won't get to do that this summer since the horrible mom woman is leaving me behind. She got your mom's email!!! She's going to write back later today, I suspect. She's feeling a little sickly today. Probably a result of guilt for planning a trip without me.

Park Rangers, the nerve. BUT, the fish hooks would probably hurt really bad if you got one in your foot....Those are beautiful pictures and I want to come to that park and run and chase a squirrel. Loved the videos....

Bet it felt good to stretch yor leggededs and fox trot round Jamaica Pond.It looked very beautiful even without the white squirrel (you sure it's not a white wrabbit? Oh and shame bout the pond thing ... and the piddling pool. Did you leave a pee mail in the piddling pool?

Wagging for you Archie. Eric

Oh Archie...oh my...you look so pawsitively handsome I had to go and sit by the freezer and hope some ice would fall from the dispenser....sounds like my Archie is big and strong and healthy!!

And I don't think u should be swimmin' where there might be fish hooks...yes, the ranger might have been makin' up a story or HE COULD BE RIGHT...and you'd have a fish hook in ur paw...and somebody could reel you in and take you HOME. And Aggie would be the only foxie at ur house. See what I mean? Not a good idea.

Oh...that drivel that Stan posted...just ignore it...(Lacie tosses her blond highlights in total derision)...of course I can swim...(Lacie tosses her blond highlights a little less forcefully...)I mean...I AM A LIFEGUARD FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. Sorry. But...lifeguards just sit on a highchair and look bootiful. I don't know what swimmin' has to do with it.

I think I'm gonna go and work on my tan. Mumsie was on 24 hour call on Sunday and gets to do it allllll over again on the 4th of July. Oh, she'll be in a fab mood. No picnics for us that day...at least with her along.

Baylee's whinin' to go out...she just went out. This 4 dog thing has gone better than Mumsie ever hoped. Maybe it's cuz after 3 what's one more???

Your Lacie.....XXXOOOXXXOOO

That is great that you are feeling so much better Archie. I bet you are glad that you can walk around that nice pond. Too bad the ranger wouldn't let you play in the water. That is my favorite thing to do on these hot summer days.

That's great news! You two will be ready for the Pawlimpic trials in no time. Maybe Lenny's visit inspired Archie? Wicked AWESOME! (Mommy lived in Boston 10 years ago!)

what WONDERFUL news, I bet Archie is so totally STOKED!! We love when good things happen to our friends. I am so sorry you didn't get to swim but I don't think fishing for terriers would feel too good. The lake looked beautiful!

Oh thats a very bootiful place....you guys really having fun, meeting Toffee & Reiley sure is best.

Jackson's J1 and J2 said...

Hey pals, so glad to hear that Archie's visits to the chiropractor are paying off. J1 suspects that I like being carried up and down the stairs so much that I hardly bother to walk them now. I mean, why should I when I've got 2 human slaves to carry me in style? I'd rather save my energy for the important stuff like destroying toys and eating.

Jamaica Park looks very beautiful. I can't believe you walked past those ducks WITHOUT BARKING! J x

No swimming? Did you explain that they MUST remove those fish hooks from your pond?

That seems like a wonderful place. My humans lived in Boston for a while and never knew that was there! Man, did they miss out. Shall we rename that park Archiville?

Mr. T-Bone Beasley said...

Oooooo, he walks with such elegance! Did you teach him that Agatha?

As for that water, I think the park ranger was lying. If the ducks are fine with some fish hooks, then I think us four legged humans coulda swam around in there too!

Slurp!

It must be so nice to meet 3DWB friends a week!! We met Toffee and Riley's pawrents not long ago (it was great!) but we will love to meet up with Toffee and Riley...and you two in pawson one day.

What a beautiful place!!! Too bad you could only look, but not touch the water. It's a good thing that the park rangers warned you about the fish hooks. Fish hooks stuck in your paws would have hurt terribly!

Jake of Florida said...

Yay Archie!!! What a bee-you-tea-full place to demonstrate your new powers and enjoy good terrier romping again.

Your PL 1 and PL2 and Agatha must be very proud of you and the hard work it took to get your legs back. Look at that foxie go!!! He's got legs!!!

On another topic -- our Mom wants to be sure you know that we are in no way responsible for the carryings-on of that Tampa Bay team that has been so rude to you of late. We have our own surprising team over here (the Marlins)and don't pay much attention to the one over there. Except when they attack our friends!!!

Wirey woofs for a Happy Fourth. Stay safe!!!

Archie Man!

If I were there I'd plant a big juicy goob smooch right on your pucker in celebration of your trip to your 2nd fave spot! It looks like an amazing place to recharge your terrier zen.

Wish you could have gone swimming too. Nothing like some good hydro therapy for the ol' back.

Sorry I've been a little M.I.A., but I love you guys and am catching up on all you've been doing!

Goober love & happy 4th of July,
Stanley
