Time for a TOUR!!!!

Well it has been mighty sad around our DWB world,and we thought that we all needed something to cheer us all up a little so we thought it was time for a tour...........Pl1+2 had a friend come visit from Amsterdam and he wanted to go to Marblehead.which is a lovely little coastal town so here we go..............

One of the prettiest harbors(we think.......)

Marblehead is very quaint and has lots of nooks and crannies and cute little houses..........

PL2 saw this on a truck and thought it was cute!!!!

Marblehead used to be a big fishing town(well still is really..PL2's brother in law is a lobsterman...but those are not his lobster traps.....)

This is an original Marblehead house from the 1600"s It faces the harbor and when the British were attacking the harbor during the Revolution it fired on this house,which still has the cannon ball shot in the house!! The 2 little brown plaques to the left on the house are the original wood of the house and you can see some cannon shot!

Marble head claims to be the birthplace of the American Navy(as stated by this plaque) however there is a big dispute between the next town Beverly!!!!!(the first ship was built in M'head but commissioned in Beverly) And it was M'head sailors who rode Washington across the Delaware for the surprise Christmas attack...

Guess what... more harbor!!!!

This is a great house........

As well as having great houses an added attraction(especially for PL2 ) is the great shopping.......

PL2 is having a lot of trouble moving the pictures around so they are a little out of order..

If you ever come to Marblehead you must come to this restaurant and get their CHOWDA!( that is Massachewsettese for chowder) You have never had ANYTHING like it and they put these sweet little crackers in the soup...MIAM MIAM(as Faya would say) and never mind the BEAUTIFUL vies of the ocean/harbor while you eat..........

Archie's own Santa Vacca and much much more

Well we wanted to show you more of our birthday activities (hee hee I snuck in another pic of the birthday hat boy...)Now you all know our dear pal Lucia....and how she has been teaching all of us Italian...The minute Archie heard the phrase SANTA VACCA(holy cow) THAT WAS IT!!! This is all he says......"Archie want to go outside?" SANTA VACCA,"Archie want to eat supper?" SANTA VACCA......"Archie do you want a cookie?"SANTA VACCA(he seems to be a little stuck on this phrase...plus now he is pretending he is Italian..and all he wants to eat is pasta and see Sophia Loren movies...)Sooooo guess what Lucia sent him?? HIS VERY OWN SANTA VACCA!!!! and I got a frog. here they are(oh great camera work PL) AND THEY RIBBIT AND GO MOO!!!!!!!

To say that Archie was ecstatic is an understatement...We had more movies but they were very dark for some reason...but here is playing with his very own Santa Vacca........

And Toffee and Riley got us these!!!! Whew were they delish........

Toffee also sent over this crinkle cow..She is the greatest kid....Why is she called a crinkle cow??Listen to the noise while I am playing with here( she has a water bottle inside so if it should accidentally explode you can just put in another water bottle!! How cool is that???)

And Hootie sent us presents as well...First of all LOOK AT THIS PAPER!! DID YOU EVER SEE ANYTHING SO BEAUTIFUL!! Of course Arch snatched it right up and is going to put it on one wall of his crate...He LOVED it.......

And Hootie sent me the cutest purse!!( Lacie I will let you borrow it but you HAVE to be careful...)

Look it goes PERFECTLY with this outfit!!!!!



We also got a flattened chicken(like the flattened fox Asta sent us...We HIGHLY recommend them........two paws up...)

As for Lacie and Scruffy and Baby Stan??Well remember Mango's Jack in the box??Uh huh.. we got one too...But it is a Red Sox one and it has Nomar Garciaparra( When he played for the Sox people would shout HEY NO-MAH.....HIT A HO-MAH...that is Bostonese .We will translate that for you...HEY NOMAR...HIT A HOMER...... ) Uhhhmmm one of us was quite intrigued by this and one of us was not...see if you can figure it out from the movie......

Scruffy also sent Archie this foot....that's right I said foot......

Hoo boy Arch was ROLLING AND SNORTING AND LAUGHING( must be a boy thing...) Now what are we waiting for ???????

Only THIS .....A WHOLE BASKET OF THE BEST COOKIE'S EVER MADE IN THIS WORLD from our main squeeze Jackson......... Archie is on the process of working on making a puzzle book for Jax as he has to rest a little between his walkies....(I told Jax that it might not quite be up to Jackson's intellectual prowess but it will still be fun...)

We really got a lot of neat stuff and wish to thank everyone from the bottom of our little terrier hearts......you guys are very kind........What am I doing in the next picture you might wonder?Well as you can see I am on top of my bomb shelter..and PL2 put one of my toys ON TOP OF THE BOOKCASE....HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET IT THERE????So I am trying to figure out how to get to the top(where is Stanley when I need him??Or maybe a Schnoodle they are REALLY tall........)

As for Arch???Two guesses.........Check out his ears...what is up with that???????

Some more birthday activities

Well really,it has been none stop over here.....We think you should really have a birthday more often than once a year.....We wanted to thank all of our dear friends for all of your birthday wishes on our chox box, and the lovely birthday concert card from Molly and Taffy, and the beautifull card from Blue, and the worm singing card from Tula and the cute party card from the Schnoodles and the wonderfull Jackson card from Lenny and the outstanding poem from Gussie and all of the other birthday wishes you guys gave us!! We also want to thank Eric,Lacie and Scruff and BabyStan,Toffee and Riley Hootie and Lucia who were very naughty and sent us lovely lovely presents even though we are spoiled brats( I didn't want to write that but the secretary got in here somehow) So here we are at the begining of the festivities...You may be wondering why Archie is looking alittle glum.....Well you see Eric sent us a package and in it he sent us some PARTY HATS!!!!!!

HA HA!! And Archie knew he was going to have to wear one!!!!! Look how happy he is!!! He was mortified and will be even more mortified because I told him I wouldn't put this picture up!!!hee hee..... He said that although he loves Eric this was pushing it.......

I told him to get over it.. it was a BIRTHDAY hat..and be bon vivant about it.......

See like me....You can even wear it on a jaunty little angle.....

Here is Archie giving a demonstration of how to use this fabulous toy. He may be little over boistourous but we think that is a sign of a good toy, or it just may be a sign of Archie.....

Here I am playing with it...For our birthdays we each got a bath and Pl2 even washed all of our 12,000 beds so that is why bed # 11,998 isn't made yet....

Eric also sent us these...friends we do not have thse over here( that we have ever seen) They are delish and give your breath just a faint tint of the ocean.....

We are having a bit of trouble downloading in Blogger just now so we are going to divvy this post up as it is taking 12,000 hours to put anything up..We are sure you are ging to want to see the foot that Scruffy sent Archie and the Red Sox Jack in the Box movies and of course Archie with now his very own Santa Vacca Cow from Lucia,the flattened chicken from Hootie, as well as the cow that crackles from Toffee...so we leave you on pins and needles..........
