Ah Spring(in a manner of speaking)

PL2 woke up today and saw rain rain rain........and cold cold cold...and she couldn't take it anymore and hopped into the car and drove here................well this is the parking lot of where she was,and she wanted you to see Boston in the way far left,but..actually you can't see it because of THE RAIN!!!!!!!!!

And then all of a sudden she saw this..........

And bowls of beautifull roses that smelled delicious(or so she said,we were not allowed HOW UNFAIR IS THAT????) She was at the New England flower Show which we New Englanders go to in droves because we are sick of the winter and cold and snow and it gives us hope that spring is on the way(that and the fact that baseball spring training has started!!) So here we go ladies gents and hammies the beginning of our famous Boston tours!!!!!!!!

Isn't that a cute little cottage??

Spring flowers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was made out of bamboo!!!

Oh boy!! An exhibit about OUR ARBORETUM!!!!(remember where the coyotes are and where you can roach you heart out and go swimming in the stream AND HUNT!!!!!!!!!!)

Look at these neat arrangements.PL2 is so envious of the people that had the artisitc talent to make them and each year says she is going to take a class...........

When Archie and I saw this dinner table arrangement we both thought that we should have our dinner served like this(and then Archie said that maybe when he goes to the movie with a certain someone they could set it up for him....)

Look at these big things!!!! How do they get these arrangements in side!!!!!

Well it is New England!!!

PL2 was wishing that we were there with her(Iwas??)and then she saw this and started to laugh!!!!!!!!!!

So she LOADED up with stuff for all of us...........
That's about as artistic as she can get...

And then she was walking around with these dried smelly flowers that she called lavendar that she said was supposed to be REALLY calming.....and put it in front of my crate. What's that all about??
So we are rejuvenated, the su n came out( from the whippets we know!!!!) and will hope that spring comes soon(even though PL2 just heard that we may be getting a Nor'Easter snow storm this weekend...grrrrrrrrrrrr

Agatha, My mom is so wishing she could go to that flower show and now she's going on and on about the botanical gardens and how I can't go because I'm a dog. Well, really. What is the point of a place that a dog can't go to?

p.s. Who is Archie's certain someone?

I don't see why OUR farm can't look like this. How hard can it be? Hey, Mom! Get up and do some landscaping. I'll even help dig.

I love that waterfall. It's all really cool, except maybe that big moose. We don't have mooses in Oklahoma.

Ahhhh, those are lovely flowers - especially in contrast to the nasty rainy weather you have had this season. I love lavendar! We have a "calming spray" from one of muzzer's aromatherapy pals that is for - mu - lated for doggies. I like it. But it doesn't work for TEKA!

She is immune

Hey Guys...it's Archie's certain someone here...at least one of them...the movie was fabbbbbbb, Arch....how you managed to find a replay of Firehouse Dog, I will never know. It helps that they show somewhat older family movies at the retirement center here...but um...Arch...was it a good idea to chew up that elderly man's cane?? Um...are you gonna be a therapy dog?? (Grin!!) Lots of the men there had bow ties on just like you...and they had white hair too...ya fit right in Archie....!!! Holding your paw was fabulous in the theater...Perhaps the next time you could hold your ice cream bar in the other paw...

We loved ur pix from the flower show...mumsie and daddy are gearin' up for ours here...we can't go either.

Hope u don't get that Northeaster thing...is that like a holiday???

Hi, Agatha and Archie!
Sure going to that show was a good way to PL2 to forget about snow and cold days!
My grandma makes things with dried flowers but sure not as artistic as the ones you showed us!
I don't know what is a Nor'Easter but it doesn't sound good!
Kisses and hugs

Hi Agatha and Archie

Your Mum certainly had a lovely day at the Flower Show, it looks similar to the Chelsea Flower Show held in London every May.

We really cannot understand why us dogs cannot go to these Horticultural events, I mean to say we could save them many man hours of watering all the flowers, shrubs and bushes!!! Tee hee

Hope you don't get the nasty storm at the weekend, we are due more rain by the looks of it. It is the one time you wish the Weather forecasters would get it wrong.
WE WANT MORE SUN!!!!

Wow, I am so glad your mum posted those pics...they were gorgeous she said, she is so ready for Spring. It has been so windy and cold here in Kansas, then she said tornados will be here soon...I don't know what that is, but it sounds scary.
