A + A,

Congratulations on your Red Sox World Series Champions. Dad says it's a nice consolation considering the Mets fell short and he hates the Yankees's. I'm glad the Met's didn't make it to the playoffs otherwise Dad would've been glued to the TV hootin and halering. I would've been so bored.

Once we realized our Cardinales weren't going anywhere, we relaxed and decided to root for our former Marlins -- Josh Beckett and Mike Lowell. So yes, we're happy for you.

Our paper had a big article on Mike. Mom, who is very loyal to the players she likes, regardless of their team, was beaming to see him holding up the MVP cup.

But next year, dear A & A -- it's back to GO CARDS!!
