Waiting for tropical storm Hannah and other things

Well this is what it looks like outside.....We are waiting for Tropical Storm Hannah... and we are supposed to get 6 inches of rain and wind up to 40 to 60 miles an hour....WHOA!!!! HOW ARE WE GOING TO GO OUTSIDE!! WE WILL GET BLOWN AWAY!!!( actually Arch is worried about that, but not me........ I mean really would PL1+2 take us out in this??!! I mean would they?)

Arch is hanging out by the dryer...why?? who knows.....
Me?? I am being my effervescent self helping around the house( I just found a pencil and was working on that until PL2 found me...)

What we thought we would be doing is this...........walking around Jamaca Pond.....which we did the other day.....

Perhaps do a little swimming(close to shore of course I don't really know how to deep swim,I get a little nervous and Arch just likes to dip his feet...I would like Sophina La Brador to teach me one day.....)

Of course apples are coming into season and there is nothing like a good munch when you are walking( PL2 takes one bite for her and two for us.....)

Oh boy Archie is getting a little nervous about all this rain that is supposed to come so I have to calm him down...Here I am telling him a good joke...

See him laughing?????? Well we are light years behind in all of our reading so we are going to catch up now on everyone's blogs...... We will keep you posted on this storm.... Pl2 is hoping that she and Pl1 do get to take us out later....oh boy now Arch is all nervous again......

Are we first? Are we first?

Sounds like Hannah is gonna be a biggie rain storm...at least from what they are sayin' now in the Carolinas...Big Sissy is in Charlotte so Mumsie has been keepin' an eye out...Ike sounds bad...looks like he might go West...yeeesch...too many storms...aren't ya glad you got those new windows???

Has PL2 recovered from her lovely weekend last week?? Hope she made double time for sure on Monday!

Mumsie said to tell her she had a recent graduate shadow her this week...Child has worked in NICU since she graduated in December and wants to transfer to adult ICU/PACU or OR. Mumsie told her if she saw a O2 sat less than 90% to get crackin'...she loved it when the young nursie wacked the patient's feet!!Ahhh...

We need to go for our walkie before it rains...

I asked Archie if I have dog breath...he's been very quiet since the popcorn/baseball/monk issue.

Love and kissies...

Be safe, A & A. We're having a t-storm passing through here. We hope every dog and cat will be safe (their humans too!) during the hurricane season. It's a busy one.

Oh no, that sounds just awful! I'm sure you won't have to go out if it gets too bad.
I'll try and blow it the other way for you, but i'm pretty far away so I don't know if it will work!
Your walk around the lake looks blissful, what a beautiful place to go exploring! Hopefully the nasty storms will go away soon and you can get back to the lake. I love apples too, especially big sweet red ones.

love and tailwags,

Well it wasn't too bad here in Chapel Hill, NC which is of course pretty far inland. We had a lot of rain and wind last night and one tree came down but not near the house or the car.

Stay safe and stay dry!

Your friend,
Niamh

Hi A&A,
Hope you survived! We had 3 1/2 inches last night. We slept through most of it. Of course, Miss Jenny decided that she needed to pee at 4:30 this morning. Daddy got her up, but she refused to get off the porch. Such a diva!
Wirey hugs,
Nicky and Jenny

Mitch is drooling over the picture of that apple! I wonder if there's a dogging alive that likes apples more than he does?!
We got Hana's remnants yesterday and last night so today we'll be helping mom pick up LOTS of sticks in the yard!

Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

Gosh! Now that I think about it, you two could have blown away or drowned in a puddle or anything last night. Hope you are OK.

BTW - Send your PL's out to Framingham. Not only is our gas cheaper, but a nice young man actually pumps it for us cause momma still can't figure out all that self serve stuff.

Oh yeah, and he washes the windows too.

Mango
