We are back + a lazy day

Well we are back..well not really us but PL2.She went to go visit her sister in New Jersey AND SHE DIDN"T EVEN GO AND SEE ASTA!!! Geesh(but she said she wasn't very close to her so she will go another time.....) Her sister lives out in the middle of the boonies and one night PL2 was looking out the kitchen window AND SAW THIS.....................on the porch(don't forget..PL2 is a city girl.....
Then he looked in at her.....and she thought he said ha ha where are A+A now!!! A GOPHER( at least that what she thinks it is but what does she really know.....Imagine the cheek of that kid to taunt her like that..YOU KNOW what we would have done!!!!!!!
The next night she looked out AND SAW THIS!!!!!!!!!!! It looks like a masked bandit but it is a RACCOON!!!!!!!!

This kid looked in and also said to her Hey where are the famous A+A!(these Jersey kids have a lot of nerve....)And the next night she saw a TURKEY out there but wasn't quick enough with the camera..)
Well we were at home taking care of PL1. I was taking over the duties of the house and Archie was.... well ... being Archie . There was a little mishap with a flair pen,but to be honest Joey did dare him to use a flair the next time.... and he didn't get any on his beard or the floor...(because he got caught very quickly in the game)Today we are just hanging around and playing inside because it is raining. And we have to catch up on EVERYONES blogs and read all about what has been happening. Now I am back in training because I have another try for my "E" in October. Of course Archie has taken on the role of my coach again as he is still not aloud to participate. Here I am trying out some football moves on him(you may ask what do football moves have to do with earthdog?? Nothing but it is part of my training... Note the slam Archie's head into the pillow maneuver, a tactic many football players use...)

Then we decided to take a break.......

I am so tired I couldn't even make it the whole way under my bomb shelter....

And this is how we ended up.........OK we are off to read!!!!

Aggs & Arch!

I have MISSED YOUR FACES... my girl is SO lazy these days.

Glad you're back & that your mama was not traumatized by the local wildlife in NJ! Next time you'll have to go with her. But then, what will your dad do at home all alone?

Agatha, I see so much of you in Stella it's not EVEN funny. She's obviously learned a lot of her wrasslin' moves from you. But what is this about not being able to make it all the way into your bomb shelter? Are you redecorating?

We're gonna catch up on your recent posts now. Can't wait.

Goober love,

hi A&A, that was some bunch of wildlife and PL2 got to see when she was in new jersey. it's too bad you weren't there to protect her.

we love your football training, Agatha. and that shoving Archie's head into the pillow is a great move. we're gonna have to try that one out on Brody.

we hope that Archie can coach you good enough to get your E this time, but don't worry, you still get to have a lot of fun chasing that rat. and we have a lot of fun watching you and hearing about it.

We are glad you are back. We have been gone too.(sheesh 5 days in blogland is lots of catching up,hu? Anyhow,Scooter thought he left you 2 a "note" to come over and pick your award from "we are kinda speechless". Scooter's idea was to let his friends pick which award they like. So pick what you like, just tell him which one it is(cuz he is nosy) in comments.
He was all excited about making DWB history by letting recipients pick their own award.
So,please do,pick one you like!

Wwoowwooo we are glad you are back! We missed your happy faces.

where Muzzer and dad went to school the mascot is a gopher. But he is way cuter than the one your mom saw and he wears sweaters and things. She might have been more comfortable seeing him on the porch than that rural gopher. Ah, a children's book, City Gopehr, Country Gopher. think it has been done?

Hi Agatha & Archie!

I missed reading your blog...Mom has been away too, so I hope I will be able to catch up with everyone real soon!

Your Mom sure had quite an adventure in New Jersey! I cannot imagine my Mom seeing the wildlife coming over to the porch...she would probably scream her lungs out and not be able to take photos of them like YOUR mom! hehe! She is a brave lady...*grins*

Hope you had a great weekend!

My mom is from NJ! She says that those critters are probably returning home after a summer at the SHORE. I'll bet that they're nice and tan and crispy and TASTY!!

Sophie Brador said...

Seems like those critters were getting bigger every time she looked out the window. One more night in Jersey and she may have seen a bear!

Agatha! You could totally play for the Patriots or, on second thought, maybe the WWF would be better for you. Poor Archie getting his head bashed in like that.

What's up with those critters in the city? Watch out for your little selves.

I think it stopped raining finally.

Agatha and Archie,

Next time your PL2 will know better than to take a trip without you. I am sure that you two would have kept those critters from staring so rudely at her. Good luck with your earthdog training-hope it doesn't wear you out,

What a shame your mom didn't pack the gopher and raccoon in her suitcase and bring them home to you guys! They would have been free entertainment for quite awhile!
We love your blog header! Very autumnish!

Love ya lots,

That is an awesome raccoon. We went to visit sis at her new apartment the other weekend and they had those digging in the trash. Callie didn't know what to think of that masked furkin..

Well, next time your Mom needs to take you along just to keep all the critters from becoming peeping toms out there in the boonies. Really, those raccoons are a bit nervy anyway. I'll bet he was checking out the groceries. I'm not sure what that first varmint was, either. We don't have anything like that around these parts. I'll bet it tastes just like chicken, though. :)

Happy Tails,

Those are some pawsome critters in New Jersey! We think that one is either a beaver or a ground hog. It looks too big to be a gopher. We used to have lots of critters, here...until they built a school behind us and ran them all off! You two look very comfy after your training session. Good luck with your Earthdog stuff!

Holy Cow!!! I didn't know New Jersey had stuff like that. I thought it was one big suburb between New York and Philadelphia. What a surprise.

I loved your video. No wonder you were so tired...
