TOUR TIME WITH A+A!!!!!! STEP UP STEP UP!!

So PL1+2 and my brother and I decided to get out of the hot city for the day and we went to beautiful Portsmouth New Hampshire which is right on the ocean as well........

It is a very old little town and has some cool stuff there like this.....

Look at his lovely federalist style house.......

AND LOOK AT THIS.............

HE PLANTED THIS TREE!! (PL2 made PL1 take this picture because she was afraid she was going to drop the camera over the fence..)

It has cool places right on the water to eat.....

LOOK AT THIS!! A RED SOX WATER BOWL!!!!!

MMMMMMMMMMM.........

Look at this neat tugboat...Archie was going to ask if he could drive it..geesh....

Funky little street with cool shops and restaurants........

We took a little rest on a bench....I went under the bench as it was cool there........

What you don't do that???

Archie THREW his head to the left because he saw this......

(he LOVES gelato...)

Just checking out the sights with my PL's...

OF COURSE they found the book store( they ALWAYS drag us to them...)I thought maybe they would have some books at our level....

Archie thought so too....
Welllll lets go.........

Funky little street...
So we got a little hungry and we found this place...PL1+2 used to have a black lab mutt named Ollie so they had to eat there( plus the sandwiches were on home baked bread....)

Archie trying to score food by using his wicked cute pose.....

I of course know that if you sit UNDER the table they drop TONS of stuff there.....

PL2 saw this next door.....YUMMMMMY.....

Just relaxing by the table until I saw I was sitting by this.........

ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? MS KITTY???????

Beautiful building.......

So much to see.........

Now another reason PL1+2 love this place is because it is FULL of old hippies(like them)and it has funky funky stuff there.....Who knows what this is..... must be ARTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

How cool is this??

OF COURSE!!! A FLASHBACK!!!!!!!

And the day wouldn't be complete without a quick dip to cool off........

Here I am on the drive home..PL2 had a shot of Archie and me together in the same bed asleep( I THINK NOT) but blogger kept eating it for some reason( oh I don't think so...there WAS no such picture..) Hope you enjoyed the tour!!!!

Oh Yeah...we didn't know your PLs are aging hippies too! We checked into this hotel kind of place today. We had four pieces of pretty good luggage (Hartmann) two guitars and a banjo. Boy. Did we confuse Marvin the bellman! Ain't life grand with these guys for pawrents though?

Portsmouth looks a beautiful place so quaint, you had a great day and got to cool off. New Hampshire Portsmouth is much nicer than uk's.

Thank you very much, Agatha and Archie. That was a most lovely tour, and with those beautiful photos, it was almost as if I was there myself.
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
PS Gail is making me practice writing polite thank you letters. What I really want to know, is, did you score some ice-cream??!!

Port Smith is a wonderful old town with all those cool buildings. Yuh, momma enjoyed the photos but I kind of favored the action swim movie.

Thanks for the great tour, A+A. We've never been there, so we're glad we got to go with you two!
Aging hippies, huh? Sounds familiar :-) Your PL1&2 would LOVE Yellow Springs, Ohio, home of the now defunct Antioch College. Amazing restaurant called the Winds Cafe... As soon as the weather cools off, we're going!

It is just soooooooooooo hot here...Daddy took us outside and sprayed us with the hose while we played in our pool...I bit Scruffy on the ass er bum...big fight...

All in all, an excellent day...

Smashing smashing smashing tour Twinnie and Step.Portsmouth in the new england looks way better than it does in the oldeengland. I loved it all, the beautiful houses and the specialtree. The funky lanes and all the artsy fartsy stuffie..teeheee!! Even the dippy hippy things. Most of all the photo's of you two. Though perhaps I might have to consider reporting the PL'sff or extreme cruelty...I saw no gelato pass your foxy lips...nope. Not a lick. Nor drip.
Paws crossed you had one each off camera.

Wiry loves and squillions of kisses...when i fingd the van with the K99's Gussie posted about, I'll send a van load over....

Thanks for the tour. Those funky little streets remind Mom of Amsterdam. Everything was great except now I need to go find a Yankees water bowl...

that was a fun tour, kiddos. you always give the best tours. it looks like you have so much fun, especially that last clip of you cooling off in the water.

that's so cool that your PLs are hippies. our mom thinks she is one too, but she's way old, like about 150 years old. is that the time when hippies ruled the world?

What a great tour! Mom remembers going up to Portsmouth when she lived in Boston years ago (I think it was during the American Revolution). Shame she didn't know P1 and P2 back then but of course, none of us were on the scene then either and what fun would that be???

Your pal,

Petey

Ags, I need to get your cell phone number. You are so skilled at dealing with Archie and I suddenly have my own Archie, named Balto, but Mom is calling him Brenda. He is staying with us for a couple of weeks and he is just a big goof ball. I mean, at least Archie is an art thief investigator. Brenda does nothing but snuggle up with mom.

Hi Agatha and Archie, long time no see.
Most of the time that I see you, you're on the road discovering the wolrd!
That's right, so much to see, I think I drag my pawrents out of their nest today!
Cheers!
