ARE YOU KIDDING ME??????????????

Well the day we have been waiting for finally came! Remember those cool beds that PL2 and I ordered?? Well they came all right.Archie and I had been talking for weeks about where we would put them and how comfortable they would be, and how we would decorate them....OK here's mine........

ARE YOU KIDDING ME????????WHAT THE HECK IS THIS????????? A FLIPPING CLAM SHELL????????

DOES THIS LOOK LIKE A BOMB SHELTER???NO????????!!!!!! SO I thought before I jumped to any conclusions I would further investigate.......

Wait a minute..what does his look like....

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? IT HAS HIS NAME ON IT!DO YOU SEE MY NAME ON THIS CLAM SHELL????

I looked everywhere but couldn't find my name

Then I made him go look at this supposed bed/clam shell....

Here is your answer....HE WAS STYMIED....DUMBFOUNDED.....

I WOULD RATHER SLEEP LIKE THIS...........

HOPE YOU ARE COMFORTABLE IN YOUR "ARCHIE" BED THERE BUDDIE......

Really why would they even try to invent a bed bomb shelter......

There is NOTHING that could compare to this.........
I have not even put one paw into that thing yet..... Better luck next time PL2

ACK! I don't blame you! She needs to take that thing back and get your name embroidered on it in 6 inch letters in glitter thread, with a little crown over the A. Humph! Us girlies are sensitve about our accessories. On the other hand, I have 2 schnoozer friends that LOVE their clam shells. Even in Floriduh where it's hot. One of them is a bomb shelter queen like you...prefers it under the bed. Maybe once it's properly glitterized and worthy, if they shovie it up under the beddie, you'd like it better. Or if they hid extra nummy treaties in it that aren't in his bed. Just your special bed time snackies.
Hold out for your name in lights, GF!!!

Since you are the bed maven Aggie, I can see why you are distressed about this supposed bed. It looks very strange to me and I don't think I would put so much as a toenail in it either. And the nerve of your brother to get a bed with his name embroidered on it! What was your PL2 thinking???

Your friend,
Niamh

Hey Agie, it's Inky here.
If you don't fancy your shell, I wouldn't mind having it, wink, wink. It looks so comfy...
I know that our Molly wouldn't step foot in it but it's very much right down my alley, I like digging in and snuggling up (mostly under Pinkie's duvet, against pinkies extremities)...

Hi, Agatha!
I know you waited and waited for your bomb-shelter bed!
Blue?? No name? I am not so sure but it looks small...
Maybe you can donate it to Archie to his million beds and you can get a new one!
Hmmm....

That is a weird looking bed. Reminds me of that creature from Little Shop of Horrors. If you get in it it might eat you up!
Love the pic of you on your back on the windowsill!!

PS thanks for the message and happy hanukkah to you too. Keep in touch!

Whoa! What happened there ? Not even a name embroidered on it - I think your PLs need to start again! Although I think Paddy likes your bed - he says he would like it if you do not. I say, take over the PLs bed until they get this sorted out!

PS Can you help with suggestions of what to wear for my stroll? I am a little wardrobe challenged over here.

Crikey Aggie, PL2 went to a lot of trouble getting that bed for you and you wont even try it out. Poor PL2, she must be very sad. Do you think you could give it a little try? Please?
Well I bet Archie is pretty happy with his new bed.

Enjoy pals.

We think - 'try it, you'll like it', but being terriers too, we know how suspicious we are. It looks really comfy, but we'd make sure Archie and PL2 started embroidering your name on that baby.

Ha! My momma spent HUGE dollars to buy an extra special doggie bed for me and Beautiful Raja. It was gigantic and had springs in it just like a real bed to make us more comfortable. Well, after a week when neither of us would even go in the room with it she gave up and considered it an expensive lesson.

I much prefer my nice, flat, Mango bed.

Aggie: Gussie is wondering what all the fuss is about. So I am jumping in to give some girlie support.

You have PL2 call me and I will tell her exactly what is wrong and get that bed returned and make sure that the next one is to your specifications and I will tell her that she can sleep in the clamshell thingy and YOU are sleeping with the male hooman (PL1)is that what you call him until your real bed gets there.

Whew.

Sometimes being a JRT is exhausting.

I mean, you're supposed to sleep in that thing and just wait for it to...

SNAP SHUT.

Ya know, Aggie...hoomans never cease to amaze me...they just don't get us, do they???

We are soooooooo behind on visiting bloggies...sheesch...

Perhaps you could boil that bed with some 'taters, onions and such and make some CHOWDA....

I'm trying hard to be open minded and to at least try new experiences. But this one has me a bit concerned and it's hard to be supportive of PL2s efforts. Besides the fact that it's blue (I'd prefer pink, myself, even if it WOULDN'T coordinate with the rest of the house), I'd be a bit worried that that shell just might close its jaws once I climbed inside. Course if there was the promise of a pearl tucked far back in the corners, it'd be way worth the risk. I guess I'm thinkin' you should at least try it. Once. Have PL2 prop it open and go see if you find a reason to try it again. It DOES look rather comfy.

Let me know what you decide
Fergi (and Jake - he'd probably like it, too)

You know, you really might want to try P2's bed. I find it much more comfortable, not to mention roomier, than anything Mom finds for me at the pet store!

Hi, Agatha and Archie -

Your bomb shelter bed is unusual looking. But we actually have a real bomb shelter under our kitchen.

Ags, I would totally avoid that clam like the plague. I bet Graham would love it, if he could fit into it.

Mom is still very up in the air about traveling. We just had a major snow storm here. It was awesome! I bet that Arboreteum is great in a snow storm. But it made her a wee bit nervous about what will happen next week. And what will happen if she can't get back.

We'll keep you posted!

Gosh we have never seen a bed like that before.

It certainly looks as if it would keep the draughts out.

We agree -- Clamshells
R Not Us (that is, you).

We think everything that should be said has already been said -- but we've looked at a lot of beds -- a lot -- and never ever did we think a clamshell would be the chosen one.

But your PLs are pretty smart (for hoomans), so they'll figure out what to do with it (like return it pronto???).

Wirey love,

Jake and Just Harry

oh, that is so sad that you didn't get your name on your clam shell bomb shelter imposter bed, Agatha. Archie's bed looks pretty cool and really, your clam shell looks kinda cozy too. of course, it's not a bomb shelter, but it might be kind of warm and cozy for a little nap or something. you should really stick a toe in there and see how you like it. or you can do what Benson does with every dog bed in our house - chew it to shreds.

How are you guys surviving? I LOVE the snow and ice but my toes started bleeding so no more chasing balls for now. Hmm that clam shell is NOT what you ordered. I think your right Ags- spread eagle is much better.. not so lady like but who's the manners expert.

Sheese. What a lots been happening while I've been flat. Poor twinnie, a bed without your sweetself named upon it or even pictures of yourself on it like mine what's wrong with PL? Mom is often having senior moments like that - crickey noooooo don't say PL2 is having the same??!!! But stick to the avoidance technique Aggie , excellent terrier triple troubles behaviour like that is to be applauded.

Geez Aggie. I for one would be totally put off over the NO NAME thing while Archie gets his monogrammed. PL2...What were you thinking???
Since we are so behind in visiting, perhaps the awful thing has been given the boot and a more approprate bed has or will soon take the jaws of death bed's place. sheesh. Has PL2 had to do alot of overtime and her brain is tired and fried????
