A beautifull Massachewsitts Day

The weather here has been picture perfect..... We were hanging out above my bomb shelter(note..brother on right side, window shade UP....) and we all decided to take a walk around our favorite pond..........

JAMAICA POND!! WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Archie was really excited.....

We started to roach but he has such a hard time because he couldn't find a good spot..

So of course I started out with my digging.......

Look how pretty it looked!!

We did a little of this...........( I think it is a boy thing......)

Look at these duck kids....they were all sitting around having lunch....

Check out this bench..Notice anything?? Pretty funny huh??!! It is really something an artist did....

We were a bit stumped until PL2 told us it was art...

Then of course my brother wanted to read all about the piece.....

Of course I had to as well.....

A little tandem walking.....

The last days of sailing..they stop at the end of October(we think)

PL2 had an apple that she was nice enough to share with us....Archie was sitting before she even had it out ( he is like Mitch that way)

WELL I had to sit because he was.....

Did a little more of this..........

Then we sat down to enjoy the day....Archie was really excited because he had heard a new joke he wanted to tell us.......

Did you get it PL2????

HOO BOY what a riot.....................

We looked across the way and saw these leaves........ick.......

I sat under the bench a chewed a little stick....

Archie did a little more of this......

Soooooo pretty...........

Now this is the last stretch of the walk.... big trouble here....Can you see that each side of the path is lined with those geese kids??? And they are not nice......

Then two feet ahead these two women were FEEDING THESE GEESE KIDS...you may note there are no more pictures..That is because PL2 had to put away the camera as there was, shall I say a bit of action as we walked by....

All in all a fabulous New England day with a fabulous walk in the middle of it.....

THis has been just glorious weather for sure! Makes me remember why I live here (well and also cause momma makes me).

I am not fond of those geese. They are loud and cause problems by crossing the highway and they poop... a lot!

Slobbers,
Mango

P.S. Momma sacrificed her red sox ticket to one of Master's friends. She said while she liked the idea of going to Fenway that she would get bored after about three innings. Oh well.

Oh, boy, am I enjoying these blustery New England days.

And, you'll be relieved to know that Ms. Alpha has stopped my beach swimming ever since sharkey's have been spotted at Chatham. It's safe pond swimming from here on in!

There are some curious geese and a swan who come over and watch me cavort in the pond, but they don't get too close.

Do they let doggies go into the Fresh Pond?

Your happy New England pal,
Fenway

We were worn out by the end of your walk. But our tails were still waggin. We can just imagine how YOU felt. Luckily and thankfully you got that big red apple. (At least we HOPE you got it!) You can't ask for a better snack than that. (Did you catch any geese feathers???)

Enjoy your weather. It sounds delightful. We'd like it, we know!

Hi A and A
The weather has been fabby up until today. I don't mind... I needed a bath and it seems to do the trick for mom. Hey nice work on those geese. How come they always get fed and we don't. Plus we pick up our poop.. although I help with the clean up.

Twinnie and Step.Poop. The last video isn't working.Darn it. Was it of you two eating the goosie foie on the grass? Course. I love the goosie foie on the grass for rocking and a rolling in. Can eat it off your furs after. Double bubble for the price of one eh?

Seeing you two walk in tandem (erm..who does the hard work at the front?) made me wish I could join you. Do the walking in triple terrier troubles cos boy oh boy does that Jamaica Pond look a pretty perfect place for a terrier trot. Lucky dogs.

Wiry loves and kisses sibbies! Eric xxxx

hi A+A! thanks for taking us on this walk with you. what a beautiful day and park! that bench doesn't look very comfortable to sit on. we don't understand art like that. those geeses look scary though. we're glad you got by them without any incidents.

About that surprise: You're so welcome. We knew as soon as you said you liked the Coca Cola picture with the wirey pup that we wanted you to have it! We're happy you liked it and we're happy it was a surprise!

Your smiling pals,
Jake and Fergi xxoo

PS. So. Jake has now shifted his lizard obsession (in Florida) into a bird obsession (at home). He knows where the birds roost at night, and he LOVES LOVES LOVES flushing them out. Does that count? We know they don't burrow into the ground, but he does have to go virtually underground (underbush) to flush 'em. Do you think he's making progress?
