Training has begun

OK even though it is SNOWING again today(oh what a surprise) Archie my coach and really earthdog coach supreme, said we had better begin our training. He said that because we may be a little out of shape we had better begin slowly and just start with stretching....so he told me to use one of our 16,000 beds to help with the stretching. I decided to use this one which is the same room as my bombshelter(PL2 says that when you look at the pics remember she hasn't vacuumed yet) I began my stretching my back.......

Then I started to work on my front legs and also my right ear and tail......

Stretching my upper shoulders( and having a little chew at the same time,I mean why not?)I wasn't really sure where to go next and couldn't see my coach anywhere,so I shouted out to him....several times and asked PL2 to go find him so I would know what to do next........

This i s where he was...now this is a two part story....you see we are allowed on just about every piece of furniture except 2 things...the big bed and the red couch in the living room.......guess which this is?????? And that is the blanket PL2 uses when she watches TV......oh boy....

I think being called earthdog couch supreme has gone to his head...or maybe he thought people were saying go on the red couch..you never know with him.........

Wow! Some kind of training huh? Looked like you didn't have to do much at all. I wish our training was like that too.

Ags, I find stretching much easier when done in bed as opposed to out.

we're just wondering if Archie is the right dog for the job? geesh, if all he does is lay on the forbidden couch while his student is in training, then who is getting the benefit here? it sounds like Archie needs a little training of his own. oh dear, this could get messy.

woofs.

Stretching is good Agatha. I think that Archie was asleep on the job though and he should be right there to correct your form and encourage you to greater efforts.

Ah I love your excercise lessons as long as I don't have to stand up to move my paws. My mom loves the red couch very much!

A & A-
Great stretching! I like your props. But I didn't see the downward dog?? I do have a question, usually you stretch and then start training? Hmmm just stretching today followed with some visualization hence the need to be on the red couch. I get it now.

Argg.. I can't wait to slip and slide on the black ice in the morning.

What an excellent stretcher you are! Every dog is good at something. Those Earthdog trials sound like so much fun. Have your mommy take lots of pictures, okay? Smooches, Hootie

Twinny! Way to go girl. Very quick off the mark. The use of the beds for stretching was an inspired decision by Archie. And choosing and directing you to one of them from 16,000...wow thats a toughie.Tiring too. No wonder Archie is cheering you on from the red corner.

Oodles of lovies and kisses.

PEE S Tell Archie to direct that snow to go.

It looks like the stretching is going well, Agatha! So how much trouble did Archie get into? You can squeal on him! You have our permission!

Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

I don't think you are stretching really because I know that terriers have springs in their leggies instead of normal joints.

Archie is getting a bit big for hisself. Maybe your PL could get a snowplow to put on the couch. That would give him pause.

P.S. Don't forget your frontline, especially if you go to the Abor Eat 'Em. We already saw some tickies.

Great training routine! You are very, very good at stretching.

We have a leather sofa, too. Our humans are clever enough to know we will perch on a sofa and it had better be cleanable!

Good work with that stretching. And I personally think that the BEST places to be are the ones that the people try to keep from themselves. And when I'm being Naughty Boy and snoozeling on the human crate I get as flat as possible. But I can't stop this dang tail from wagging and then they find me!

Good look with your training guys!

Oh dear, I don't think Archie would be much help at the estate. That machine is even bigger than a snow plow and it came attached to a giant snow plow like truck! Stick to rats, little terrier.

Mango

P.S. Momma had to drive down Main St. in Waltham today and she thought of you guys living in the scary city with traffic. She HATES traffic.
