Arch Update and Help is on the Way!

There he is,my poor brother.....He hasn't really gotten any better, and in fact PL1+2 think he is worse. Yesterday, while PL2 was working PL1(IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BLIZZARD! What a guy!) took him in for an xray(and he got the same covering DR who he had the day before....yep, the one he really wasn't too pleased with!) She still didn't have any answers. So today,PL2 is off. Boy oh boy,she took charge alright!!!!!(What a Gal!) and Arch has an appoinment with an Orthopaedic Surgeon at 1pm.....SURGEON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well I will not be able to come with them on that visit.....I can see why Arch didn't come with me with I had to go with my ahem pee problem... THIS IS VERY NERVE WRACKING!!!!! What if he needs crutches!! Can you see him with crutches?????? I have been trying my hardest to entertain him, parchesi, poker, movies,I even brought out a few toys from the bomb shelter!!! But to no avail.....

As you can see above I am wiped out from trying to entertain him and I am a little worried and I am in my bomb shelter(I really never go in this early but it was that or a pawtini)...but help is on the way.....Asta,Koobie and Lacie are on their way to help me.....

PL2 here...She really has been trying to cheer him up!!!! She really did bring all her toys (well maybe not all!) out of her bomb shelter and brought them to him!!!She also keeps going over to him and nuzzling him.....I'll let you know what the Ortho. Dr says !!!!!)

Agatha, Your compassion for your brother is so cute. My mom just emailed your mom at your email address on your blog. I hope the trip to the surgeon goes well.

I wish you had my Auntie Judy vet. She didn't waste any time getting those xrays and referring me to the big guns. But if it is a torn ACL, you can't really see it on an xray. On mine, you could see arthritis on my knee. My ACL did not tear all at once, but strand by strand over time, so there was a lot of action around that joint.

Anyway, my mom is happy to talk to your mom any time. I hope the trip to the surgeon is more productive than that stinky vet who isn't helping you at all.

Hey PL2 and Archie! Hope the trip to the ortho vet goes well. Like Sophie, I tore my ACL in my back knee, but I tore it all at once. I was lucky that my normal vet does ortho surgery, so he took good care of me. I hope that you didn't tear your ACL but let my mom know if you want to talk about it if you did!

I'm glad Agatha is taking such good care of you!

Your friend, Lenny

Oh dear, We heard about the call for nurses, but didn't realize how serious this was until we read a note from Pl1 on one of our terrier lists.

Now that we know, we have all our paws crossed and have also elicited our resident bird to fly us up there if Archie needs some male companionship.

Keep us posted -- we'll be checking.

Wire-to-wire woofs,

We positively winced when we read the diagnosis.

Agatha you are a caring sister, well done for looking after Archie. Glad the nursing team has arrived to give you support.
