WHOA!!!!!!!!!! What a weekend!!!!!!!!!! Part One

Well,as you all know we were having a little get together this weekend and low and behold...... PL's came as well!! We did a lot of touring and showing local areas of interest to all( I mean we couldn't really ignore our PL2's and besides we had a lot of break out time at night( that will be part two,part three will be our trip to the Mango Estate...hee hee) Mango,Tula,Norwood, Asta, Scruffy,Lacie (and her 16 blenders)Baby Stannie(I know. I know he is a big boy now) Duffy( hoo boy....for a little kid can he swing back those smoothies!!) Eric,Toffee and Riley,....All the boys stayed at a hotel and all the girls stayed in my bomb shelter...I did have one surprise visitor in my bomb shelter but you will see who that was in a bit....)

Asta arrived first..well actually Flat Asta because she fit better on the trip over....I had a lot to show her so I told her to have some fruit to munch on while we talked.....

I told her to go the window so she could check out the cat I always stare at....

Of course she wanted to look out of the top of my bomb shelter post....

And she went to check out how all the blenders were going in the bomb shelter...

While the sixteen blenders were all mixing at the same time we went into my crate in the kitchen to get away form the noise and gossiped about what the boys were doing at the hotel

We had baked stuffie lobster and Arch and I did cook a traditional New England meal....(you can read all about it on Lacie's blog) Here is Arch( AKA Chef Archie"BAM BAM" Emeril ,that was today's show he watched) checking on the lobsters....

Asta was unpacking the grocery bag..... When you are a guest you can get away with anything...WE are not allowed on the counter!!

Then I saw a very special guest who was relentlessly large and relentlessly flat......

CHECK IT OUT!!!! Flat Mango!!!!!!!!!!!

Asta joined him and even though it was Flat Mango I told Archie we had better get out of here before the bed croaks.....

WHAT????Smoothies are up!!!!

Ok now the next picture may really really shock you, but I did once promise him( AND ONLY HIM NO OTHER HIMS) a quick peek into my bomb shelter..I did clean out a LARGE proportion of my stuffies so he could fit......

After I let him in I was feeling a little guilty because boys are not really allowed in there but Auntie Ami had a nice talk with me and said once in a rare blue moon it was acceptable....

Before we went to paint the town orange( well really Asta is here) Asta decided to take a little nap and read a little..........

As we were getting ready Arch and I kept hearing funny noises and we felt like we were being watched or something.. I quickly turned around and for a BRIEF second...I thought I saw this.......... Hee hee too many smoothies....Part two will be painting the town orange.....

COMPANY'S COMING!!!!!

OK it is going to be a fun weekend....Aunti Ami and Mumsie and Duffy's Mom and Toffe's Mom and the Square One's Mom and Mango and Pee Wee's Mom and Norwood's Mom and Tula's Mom are all getting together!!And in usual PL2 fashion they are going to eat and talk and play!!! So we thought that we would get ready as well.We just had a bath............(that will set the tone....)

So we got new toys form PL2 at the girls shop.Mine is on the left, the cute little cuddly lambie that has about 1600 squeakers in it...and my brother's toy is the maniacal one on the right.It covers a ball that sounds quite ,how shall I say different. Now before I show you Archie at work with his toy I have to tell you something. This morning,PL1 left his peanut butter and jelly sandwich in perfect counter top position....AND ARCHIE TOOK IT,,only HE ATE THE WHOLE PIECE OF PAPER TOWEL THAT IT WAS ON as well.....

Here he is playing with this thing( I was quietly on top of the bomb shelter, gently playing with lambie...(hee hee hee I got it desqueeked in 12 nano seconds
..well actually I have a little more work to do as there are 1599 left)

Depending on how things turn out(hee hee hee) Archie is thinking of patenting this...you can go and wipe yourself at the same time........

Helping PL2 clean

PL2 was cleaning in my bomb shelter room(not of course my bomb shelter as it is SPOTLESS)....and she put this stuff on the floor..

Well,l I will just let you watch what hapened........

I will clean this area thank you very much.....

Somethng's up with my brother

About once a week we have to have a dog walker when either PL1 and 2 won't be home early enough to take us out before we sort of explode. As you know our old dog walker is going to have a puppy so she had to stop for awhile, and we just had to break in a new one who is very nice. I was walking around the house yesterday after she came and I noticed this in Archie's bed......

And then the next time I made my rounds I saw my brother staring at that green card.......

So I figured I would check out what it said.....

ARCHIE WAS HIS USUAL CHARMING SELF???? I WAS SLEEPY??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????? CHARMING SELF?????????????????

Well maybe I was a litle tired because I had been zooming around the house a bit and then I was reading one of PL2's mystery novels. But that is not the part that got me...I have never heard anyone call him charming except PL1+2 call him nice stuff but they are PL1and PL2 and they have too.... And this has gone to his head BIG TIME........Look at how silly he looks in this picture..and how his eyes are like googly eyes.....

This is too much........

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASTA!!!!!!!

Today is our dearest pal Asta's birthday!! and we read Jake and Fergie's blog and did exactly what they said to do( because they are very very smart kids) and in honor of Asta's birthday made a donation to Fox Terrier Rescue ( we did that place cause, well we are fox terriers) but you can do it to any place where puppies need our help..We wish all puppies could be as lucky as we all are on DWB's. This is a very lovely way to celebrate our bestest pals birthday!!!!

A present and a peek in my bomb shelter

Oh my gosh you can NOT believe it!! We went to get the mail the other day and there was a package with paw prints all over it!! And we looked at the address and couldn't figure out who it was from and WHAT it was!! So we opened it up and found a delightful surprise from JAKE AND FERGIE!!! It was the fabulous picture they showed on their bloggie of the Coca Cola girl(with white gloves, very proper) and A WIRE FOX TERRIER!!!!! They send it to me..I mean us.....You may notice the handsome baseball player picture next to that..( Mike Lowell)a favorite of Pl2 and Jake and Harry and their Pl's hee hee)

So we had to find the best place to put it....Archie scoffed off with it and put it behind one of his 4000 beds......



But then it fell on his head when he was thrashing around( he said he was dreaming of being a pirate on a ship...) and it scared him..... so he put it outside my bomb shelter.......



OK get ready.... This doesn't happen too often as you well know........INSIDE MY BOMB SHELTER!!! Here I am taking a little nap,minding my own business

I like to keep a lot of MY toys around me.....



I have though ,cleared out a rather large area because once Mango said he would like to come in for a visit...NOW I know I once said boys were not allowed but I mean Mango is Mango and I think I would let him in........

I put it in front of all my toys.....

Wait it looks a little crooked...

Geesh now it is falling a little....


Wow I could fit some more toys behind this...



WHOA....I haven't seen this toy in a LONG time........




I uhhmmm got a little distracted and PL2 said she was going to find a lovely place for it, and that is how it ended up where it is in the first picture........ but she said that is temporary because she is going to put it with all HER stuffies,,, but that is another story......

We are here to apologize for being late in all of reading...and we will catch up..We are missing ALL of the latest gossip..... PL1's school started so back to work he went,(boo hoo he was with us for TWO WHOLE MONTHS) and PL2's work has been very very busy,and our dog walker is having a baby and couldn't walk us and we had to break in a new one,and blah blah blah blah............... So we would like to take this opportunity.....

WELL we OBVIOUSLY are soooooooooooo behind......we'd best start reading......We received a lovely surpise in the mail which we will show in the next post and also I will give you a sneak preview into my bomb shelter( this doesn't happen often so you better be prepared........

A beautifull Massachewsitts Day

The weather here has been picture perfect..... We were hanging out above my bomb shelter(note..brother on right side, window shade UP....) and we all decided to take a walk around our favorite pond..........





JAMAICA POND!! WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Archie was really excited.....

We started to roach but he has such a hard time because he couldn't find a good spot..


So of course I started out with my digging.......

Look how pretty it looked!!

We did a little of this...........( I think it is a boy thing......)

Look at these duck kids....they were all sitting around having lunch....

Check out this bench..Notice anything?? Pretty funny huh??!! It is really something an artist did....

We were a bit stumped until PL2 told us it was art...

Then of course my brother wanted to read all about the piece.....

Of course I had to as well.....

The last days of sailing..they stop at the end of October(we think)

PL2 had an apple that she was nice enough to share with us....Archie was sitting before she even had it out ( he is like Mitch that way)

WELL I had to sit because he was.....

Then we sat down to enjoy the day....Archie was really excited because he had heard a new joke he wanted to tell us.......

Now this is the last stretch of the walk.... big trouble here....Can you see that each side of the path is lined with those geese kids??? And they are not nice......

Then two feet ahead these two women were FEEDING THESE GEESE KIDS...you may note there are no more pictures..That is because PL2 had to put away the camera as there was,shall I say a bit of action as we walked by....

All in all a fabulous New England day with a fabulous walk in the middle of it.....
