OK everyone...Jax has completed his surgery and now is the critical time.....He is in the intensive Care Unit and we have to crank it up a little...............YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO SO LETS GET GOING!!! A+A

Paws tightly crossed for our dear boy Jackson.We hope his surgery goes quickly and that his recovery is short and he is back on his feet destuffing stuffies in no time at all. Archie is out wishing on the dogstar as we speak....Good luck Jax...

Fig Newtons,Earthdog,And still Agatha J without the E

Sit back and relax,put your paws up,because we have ALOT to tell you!!! So it all started 2 days before the big match. PL1+2 were watching TV ,on the couch,having a cup of tea and a cookie.. a FIG NEWTON,to be exact. Now there are 18 cookies in a bag(this is important for this story) and PL1+2 had each had 3....( that would leave TWELVE COOKIES right?) So PL2 gets up to go in the kitchen and PL1 goes down the hall....and PL2 says"What is that noise??" and she goes back into the living room AND ARCHIE HAD THE FIG NEWTON BAG AND WAS STUFFING THEM INTO HIS MOUTH,AND ATE ALL THE REST OF THEM!!!!(he was smart enough to leave the plastic and the wrapper) WHAT A PIG! TWELVE COOKIES and he didn't even leave me ONE!Now OF COURSE he had a bit of a tummy ache(let's think here FIGS....) so needless to say my training came to an abrupt halt...........This could be a small reason why I Agatha the great Safari Hunter, am still Agatha J without the E(Junior Earth dog) and here is the story......

Here is the place where we went..It is about 1 1/2 hours away..

PL1 took this film so you could get a feel of the place.....

Archie wanted to scope out the joint before we got started......

Check out this competition...We were the only wire foxes there(lots of smooth though...)

I started to get a little nervous......We had to check in here....

I had number 4 for the Introduction to Quarry(my warm up) and 103 for my Junior Earth dog event. PL1+2 being the city people that they are were embarrassing us because this place is a little buggy and they were dressed so that every inch of them was covered so they wouldn't get a tick and then they put this junk all over them AND THEY STANK.......PL2 said if she could have she would have worn a coat of armor(she HATES ticks) We were mortified....( the collar is ours)

Here we are waiting for my warm up run( Can you see PL2 wore here Wirestock shirt?? While PL1 was taking the picture they called my number and the man said "Oh wait a minute she is having a photo shoot with the paparazzi"( I wanted my hair to look good)

I FLEW through the Intro and here I am a little smug,doing a "victory pee" ( can you see her baggy pants and ALL THE STUFF SHE HAS ON???)

OK Aggie,Arch said, now comes the big enchilada.....Earning your E.....remember all I taught you up to the day I ate the 12 fig newtons.....

I was feeling faint and a little nervous so I lay down for a minute........

Here are PL2 and me waiting at the tent,A million thoughts were going through my head,all the rules, all the things you have to do, everything down to the SECOND.........and I HAD TO WIN FOR JAX...........

PL2 could see I was really nervous and told me that I shouldn't worry,,,If I didn't get my E Jax would understand,and he knows I love him.....Don't put so much pressure on yourself....You don't have to have a title after your name you just have to have fun....and then she said the magic words.......

GO TO GROUND AGGIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I made it through and the Judge said I did a really nice job but it took me 51 seconds to get to the rats instead of 30........51 seconds...really, did she know what I was dealing with????THERE IS S MUCH TO REMEMBER!!!But here we are after the Junior competition...we were both really happy and Archie had a nice time even though he couldn't go through the tunnel.....I will get to try to get my "E" in October at another trial and if I don't???who cares...it's all a game and I had a great time!!!!!!

We both had to get a bath as soon as we came home(so did PL1+2 because they are such tick maniacs) Check out what Archie put over his bowls)I have the Red Sox over my bowls because that is my leash and he has the Patriots)

Our pal Jax ,a Blue award!,and the TORCH!!!!!!!!!!!

Well we have received word from our pal Jax's CAT scan and he is going to have surgery on Tuesday. Now,Power to the Paw,the wish on the dog star at night, the barking and reciting a poem and the flags over Everest have really been working,so now we have to up the ante a little.....so...this is what we think we think we should do..first of all BARK MORE(now for those of us who are terrier types this will not be difficult at all) Ask your PL's for a longer walk at night so you have longer time to look at the dog star and say the poem more frequently .Let us know if there is more that we should all be doing...I shall be flying over(after Saturday because you know what is happening..I HAVE to get that"J"now for Jackson and for his J's) across the pond to help the girls care for Jax( I have learned from the greatest...my PL)

And there is a new post op treatment (the latest in JAMA) that says if you take sweet potato chews(which Jax happens to LOVE) and blenderize them it GREATLY helps the patient, so we shall be doing that.

My brother as you know likes to TIGHTLY cross everything that can be crossed,and he just read in JAMA that if you use GIANT RUBBER BANDS,this increases the potency......

Here he is waiting for me to apply the bands to his ears and legs..........

And of course you know how he learned that the power of laughter helps...so he picked out two jokes for Jax.......

Personally??I do not see the humor in that joke but........this second one is a riot.......(these are Thurber dogs)

I ALMOST DIDN"T REALIZE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IN SIX DAYS I WILL BE CHASING HIM AGAIN IN THE EARTHDOG TRIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOR THE WHOLE ENCHILADA( well really for an E to go with my J, which will make me AGATHA THE GREAT SAFARI HUNTER JE(junior earthdog) Archie is going to come with me for moral support(Coach hasn't cleared him for the event yet) We are in MASSIVE TRAINING( except for today when it was thunderstorms and we were kind of hiding under the bed .. alittle...)

Back to the Arboretum and awards, by Archie

First off we have been given awards a gazillion years ago but so much has been going on we have not had the chance to post them!! So first we would like to thank our new little buddy Eduardo and our pals the 4 B's and Hershey and Kaci for awarding us the Arte-Y-Pico award!!!!!Thankyou so much

And then we would like to thank Stanislaw for awarding us the Brilliante award.Now because we have been sooo late in posting these fabuous awards EVERYONE has already received them!! Sooooooooooo,the moral to this story is next time we will try to post them right away!!!!

So today we went back to the Arboretum...with PL1...PL2 was at work.........I decided I better be prepared this time in case I ran into you know who...........we didn't see him.....

Our pal Jackson,who is our wire fox terrier leader has received some bad health news.....Now our pal is a fighter and we are hoping he is able to fight his way through this one........There are a lot of stuffies out there that still need the Jackson test for destruction....(he is the king of this.....)

Our pals Scruffy,Lacie,Stanley and Mumsie very eloquently wrote of our pal and put up this picture of Mount Everst with prayer flags....and so we are adding it too....

We also want to post this Navajo healing prayer poem. When someone is sick everyone comes together to the person's house at night and recites this together. Now we are scattered all over the world but we are a tight community,so we want everyone to recite this together and it will be as if we are one ......

Not to be believed..........

Well it had to happen..and THANKFULLY it happened with us and PL1 not PL2 because she would have FAINTED(see who Archie takes after????) Now remember awhile back we were telling you about our Arboretum having coyotes?????And they put this sign up at the beginning of the Arboretum( which WAS NOT THERE when we brought our famous visitors Lenny and Sophie ....)

Ladies and gentlemen and all hammies, I am now going to reenact the day that my brother and I and PL1 had today....... because.OF COURSE PL1 did not have his camera!! It was a lovely summer day and PL1 said "let's go you guys and play and swim at the Arboretum( the THIRD time this week!!!) WOOHOO!! and off we went. Now it was hot here so I went to the little stream( not the one we went to Sophie another one).....and really had a nice swim...............( remember this is a reenactment...)

Here I am in the little stream.....(use a little imagination here...)swimming away....

WAIT...DID I HEAR SOMETHING????????

MAYBE OVER THERE??? Oh it was nothing.......let's continue our walk.......

We walked down one of our favorite paths...( we took Ms Sophina RIGHT DOWN HERE.........)

And there SMACK IN FRONT OF ALL THREE OF US WAS THIS..............................( this is not him but a picture of what we saw) A COYOTE........ok brace yourself.....WITH FRESH KILL IN HIS MOUTH( this is the part where PL2 would have fainted and been OOT(out of there, history see ya later by, in awhile crocodile....) But the coyote walked away about 20 feet dropped his kill which was a racoon,and looked at the three of us( PL2 would have been home already...) ( archie thought it was our racoon stuffie....)

PL1 walked away and went to go tell some people who work in the gardens there.....AND WE WENT BACK TO SHOW THEM WHERE HE WAS(PL2 would be in New York by now visiting Petey and Asta)AND HE WAS MUNCHING AWAY.....( PL2 would have not held on to her lunch if ya get my drift......) Archie was sooo nervous he kept asking the coyote if he wanted him to show him the best roaching spot where he has been taking all his DWB friends....OMG he is not to be believed...........ROACH WITH A COYOTE WITH FRESH KILL IN HIS MOUTH???????

Uh Arch....and PL1 I said I think we should slowly get out of here while this kid has his lunch......Now PL1 thought although scary it was really cool and immediately called PL2 who happened to be at work,where it was a wee bit hard to talk while she was at the patients bedside..........BUT SHE FREAKED OUT!!!!!!! And she told everyone at work that she was NEVER going there again ,ever ever ever and this was Boston for crying out loud and then she felt really badly for the coyote but not badly enough to ever go there again...AND this kid was not scrawny,so he has been eating well if you know what I mean.....

Archie has been slightly stuttering ever since then and he fell into a deep sleep and when he woke up said he was having a bad dream.........

I was thinking about it too and think although it was cool,and I am a Great Safari Hunter and everything............

...it did make me toss and turn in my bomb shelter..........

As for PL2?????the Arboretum is history for her( which is a shame because she really does love it......) Maybe if we go in a coat of armor.....)

Busy Baseball Weekend...Red Sox VS Yankees

Well this is a BIG weekend for us baseball fans as the Red Sox(Agatha and Archies team) are playing the Yankees(Joey and Tanner's team oh and Lorenza!!!!!!)PL1 found this cool sitehttp://www.xmbaseball.com/ that can make you into a bobble head so he made the 4 of us into bobble heads only it only came out as a picture not a bobble....but you can get the gist...or you can go make yourself into a bobble head!! This will be a great series !!!!!!

Sophie's STUNNING Boston finale TURNED THE RIGHT WAY!!!!

Well we have to say,that Eric(Agatha's twinny) is BRILLIANT!!!!!!! He sent us a file to download so that we can turn our movie productions the right way!!!(if you are interested it is in our Chox Box) A GIANT MUAAHHHHHHH to ya Twinny!!)So now with no further adieu we would like to show you these stunning films of Sophies finale in Boston( the Boston Globe is still writing about it and it has made the front page every day since she left...we can still hear dogs and people murmuring in the streets talking about this......)

This set takes place in her hotel lobby......now in this scene she pretends to not catch the ball but in reality she just wanted to check out who was in the window( isn't that brilliant?)

IT WAS INCROYABLE!!!(UNBELIEVABLE!!) or how Archie fainted a thousand times just knowing he was standing next to the most famous dog EVER

She walked into OUR ARBORETUM wearing this.......

All eyes turned to look at her......what a CLASSY STYLISH DOG they murmured.......She must be from another country...she has got class.........and where did she EVER get a collar like that??????they whispered...We have to get one.... now..........YES IT IS SOPHIE IN OUR ABORETUM.......I have to tell you....Archie has been a NERVOUS wreck( hard to believe I know) He kept practising what he was going to say to her when he met her, and then he thought he would learn a little french to make her feel at home( you think this is easy living with him?????? He even wanted to wear his red bow tie because it was Sophie for goodness sake but it was about a million degrees out so I put my paw down on that one....) He has fainted with anxiety at just the thought of meeting someone so famous.......And here we are...........When Sophie talks.....everyone listens....( it is kind of like the Dhali Lama)........Notice how we are staring at her with admiration?????

You got it right...MS SOHIE IN OUR ROACHING SPOT!!!!! YES where we took Lennie too!!! Archie said he is going to ask the Arboretum people( I told him that would be HARVARD) if he can put a plaque up there making it a DWB roaching spot.....

I can not tell a lie....just seeing her there in our roaching spot made me fall to the floor(I got a little overwhelmed by it all)

It was soooo hot I thought we had better take a dip in the stream......

OK you have GOT TO CHECK THIS OUT....how cool, how suave, WHAT A MOVE... Sophie slowly walked up to be next to PL1 who was with Archie.......ON THE SAME SIDE AS HIS COOKIE BAG.......BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He wouldn't even KNOW if she dipped into it!!!!!!

Here I am trying this maneuver and Sophie is giving me pointers.....I will really have to practice
