Just me and PL2

Well it was another lovely day,PL2 has been cooking all day (it's Passover!!)and PL1 has been cleaning the floors.Archie's back has been bothering him a little and this is what he was doing.....

I told him to put his feet up on the wall to stretch the muscles...........

PL2 decided that I needed a good walk to take off some energy before the company came( that plus bendryl may work) so she decided to take JUST ME!! here to our 2cd favorite place next to the Arboretum.......and it was just the girls!!!This was the first time we have been since the fall!!!

PL2 says always look before crossing the road.......

And then here we are...it is looking pretty good and stuff is slowly coming to life.......

Man was I happy...JUST THE GIRLS!!!!!!!!!

This leads down to the area where I go swimming but PL2 said not today so I can just show you the path........

These are rocks that Archie loves to go onto the top of and look down on me.......

This is a kid named Amy I met..... I think the bow on her head was making her a little nuts....see that snarl??If Archie was here he would go to her head and I would go to her back,...it makes them nuts!!! I bet she wouldn't have snarled then.....

So pretty,Archie likes to go on the dock and bark at the ducks and geese.....

Speaking of which...If Archie was here he would try to attack them and pull PL2's arm out of her socket...

If Archie was here he would try to go into the water to chase that duck....

So we went all the way around and it was great to be back here...... This is the pole that Archie likes to pee on on the way out......

So we had a good time,but I'll let you in a little secret(and I will deny I ever said this) I kind of wish Archie was with us..I missed him...

A Day at the Arboretum by the Great Safari Hunter Agatha

THIS WAS UNBELIEVABLE......even when I tell you this story YOU MAY NOT BELIEVE IT!!!!!! So sit back and hear what happened to ME Agatha the Greatest Safari Hunter of Boston

It was another lovely day,not 70 but 54 still better than what it has been and PL2 was off and said she did not feel like being inside today at all...so off we went to the greatest place the Arboretum of course(we can't wait to show you Lilac Sunday pictures when all of the lilacs are in bloom..we want to get smell o vision too if we can)So each time we go we increase the length to get Archie back in shape(the Boston Marathon is this Monday but we don't think he will be ready)and we were on the grass walking.........and I stopped ....and jumped way back and cocked my head.....and pounced...and jumped back and cocked my head........and pounced again.....PL2 said why are you so freaked Aggie???? and went over to where I was jumping back and forth to

PL2 here..Aggie it actually wasnt a rattle snake but more like a green garter snake like this.....

Oh like she would really know because once she and Archie realized what it was..

THEY WERE OUT OF THERE DRAGGING ME ALONG!!!!!In fact I don't think we have ever seen PL2 move that fast.......If she had only stayed I think I could have had it....it was raising its head and looking RIGHT AT ME.At first I will admit I was a bit stunned,I mean I have never seen one before.and now,now that we are all home safe and sound this is what Archie is doing

PL2 said that for the rest of the walk I looked like I was laughing and kept looking at her and Arch .. I WAS what a bunch of wussies..........And so begins my hunting season.........

Well we have been sooo busy with worrying about the weather and the Red Sox we forgot about our meme,wish and AWARD!!!!We have been tagged by our pals Butchy and Snickers and Asta.Actually they called it a meme but we are not too sure what the world meme means but we got the jist of what we should do!! Even though it has 2(gulp it is hard to say this....) 70 DEGREES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's official!! Spring has arrived!! We celebrated by going to THE ARBORETUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!! Let's see,we dug ,walked,dug,ROACHED!!! the first official roach of the season(for us anyway) Agatha aka Esther Williams WENT SMIMMING!!!!!!! in the stream,which was muddy.....Arch preferred to just dip his feet,WE SAW A DEAD RAT!!!!!(PL2 didn't seem as excited about that as we were) AND WE MET A WIRE FOX TERRIER !!!!! She was named Snowy and we got along fine(sort of...she snipped a little but honestly don't we all??!!) Her PL had the same kind of situation with Snowy that we had with Archie (remember when he was an outlaw??? and Ms Sophie was going to smuggle him in over the border as Jean Claude just because we got into a spat????)So PL2 and Snowy's PL agreed that this was just crazy...... So all in all a GREAT day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(PS Archie walked a bit more this time and did well!!! YIPPEE!!!!)

OPENING DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh boy,this is how we have spent the winter...............

BUT WAIT...........................................

This is what we live for.......we will live through snow,sleet,ice,rain,anything...to get to this day...Now Joey and Tanner and Lorenza and all you other Yankees fans may want to skip this post .........because today is the day we Bostonians live for.,.....OPENING DAY AT HOME AT FENWAY PARK OF THE BOSTON RED SOX!!!!!! This means its spring(even though it is about 35 degrees out WE DON'T CARE!!!!!!!!!!! AND there was a BIG ceremony so that they could receive their championship rings!!!!!!!!

PL2 had to go downtown to get her hair cut today...so she hopped on the train.......

And there was a BUZZ in the air!!!!! This town had COME ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She got very excited( because it was opening day,because she realized she had better be on the train before the hordes of people got on the train to go the game,and also BECAUSE SHE WAS GOING TO GO TO DUNKIN DONUTS!!!!!!!!Forget Starbucks and all that other other fancy stuff,,,she is a Dunkin's girl,and because it is opening day(she is shameless and will use anything for food)......

SHE GOT A BOSTON CREAM DONUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is one of the closers for the Red Sox!!!!!! Our boy Pap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The whole town was on fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She flew home(and beat the crowds going to the game...) and decided to take us for a walk before the game started,and took us here..........

It was very lovely there but all we wanted to do was this.........

And Pl2 was telling us that the Red Sox were HOME!!! Can you see how excited we are???????

So we flew home and watched it on TV.If you love sports then you would love here because this is the greatest sports city in the world!!!! In the opening ceremony they had a lot of famous Boston sports stars there.......Bobby Orr and Kenny Hodge of the Bruins,Bill Russell,JoJoWhite,KC Jones and Danny Ainge of the Celtics, Teddy Bruschi of the Patriots, AND THROWING OUT THE OPENING PITCH????!!!!!! This will only mean something to real baseball fans....BILL BUCKNER!!!! Of the 86 Red Sox(who let the ball slip between his legs and lost us the championship not that we were holding a grudge) BUT WE WEREN"T!!! Because he got a standing ovation!!!!!!! And then they all got their rings and they flew the championship flag and the Boston Pops were playing on the field. and 4 F-16's flew over the field(and gave PL2 a fright because then they flew right over the house and the whole place shook)..............

And best of all our friend Wally the Green Monster was there!!!(he looks like a GIANT STUFFIE) We love that kid.......so the cob webs are gone,spring is truly here and we are in heaven!!!!!!!!!

PS We met a new kid over at Scruffy,Lacie and BabyStan's.....HIS NAME IS FENWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guess who he roots for??OUR BELOVED RED SOX!!!!!!!!!

PAHHTTTYYY!!!!!

Well we have been VERY busy this week and are very very behind in all of our reading and posting...To catch you up quickly...Archie hurt his leg,is all better( We are ALL coverts 100% to Chiropractors for us!!!!) and the Chiropractor says he will be 100% cured of all his problems(I'm thinking there a few she may not be able to work on) we have mice in our house and PL2 is FREAKING out and cleaning cleaning and muttering things like"aren't you two supposed to be VERMIN CATCHERS" ,and she spent the whole weekend throwing things out and cleaning and cleaning and just freaking out in general(a true city girl she is.We actually like them,except they cheat at cards)and we had very little time to prepare for Asta's BIG GIANT BASH!!! WOO HOO!!!!

So we have come to NYC early and just got some wine and spaghetti for the party and went to Gucci's for some sunglasses.They wouldn't let us bring in the spaghetti because they were afraid we would spill it(they have seen Archie eat)

SO ......BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!! PARTY!!!!!!!!!! Love US

Part 2..a boy,his toy...I got it!!!!!!.....Not........

Well many people have expressed an interest in my brother's "Crazy Dog Bumble Ball".PL2 got it online at this place http://www.entirelypets.com/ She also got a talking babble ball which makes some CRAZY noises but I decided I don't like it and my brother hasn't played with it yet. PL2 is excited because it seems this may be the first toy she has ever gotten that has not been ripped to shreds( personally I do not get the same amount of entertainment that my brother gets from this toy nor do I think that attempting to smother it with a pillow is the intent of the game but who am I to talk....) I thought perhaps you might be interested in chapter 2 of a boy and his toy...I got it.......NOT.............

I'll just soak up the sun while he "plays" with his toy............
