HOORAY FOR TURKEY!!!!!!

What's that???? Ohhhh of course, you want to hear what is going on with my brother Archie.

Well about a zillion years ago PL2 did get a clicker( we think she has just about everything for dogs that is out there and she said something this morning about going to have to work until she is 105 to pay for all the stuff we need, what EVER that means)We used it alot until she realized that we were manipulating her into getting a cookie about every 3 nanoseconds....so she put it away( with the 9000 other training things that we manipulate her with....And people think WFT's are not trainable) Anyway back to the story........ SO she pulled out this.....

And some of this...noooo only kidding.. not the whole platter( although Archie did say he would get better MUCH faster if she got us that........) but she took the turkey that she was going to use for her lunches for the week(she said her sandwich was really really skinny yesterday...)

And it worked like a dream...and he is walking outside( his ears are still alittle back but SO MUCH better.......but ..this could be the tricky part..WE HAVE NOT SEEN A SNOW PLOW SINCE THE BIG EVENT!!!!!! Tonight will be a big decision maker because yep it is supposed to snow....... PL2 walks arouhd with turkey jammed in her pocket and then she forgets it is there..PL1 pulled out a melted piece of cheese last night from his pocket..They both smell like a giant deli..........

So he is better thanks to everyone's sound advice......except we can't get him to lower his ears when he is asleep because he is still alittle nervous......

We will have to tell you about our visit to the NUTRITIONIST!!!!!!!(Jackson are there openings in your club for big boned dogs??) One of us is ahem just SLITLEY overweight(geesh only by 2 pounds and everyone knows how hard it is to maintain your figure....)

Wow, I see you've now trained your humans to become walking delis. How cool is that! Should I use clicker training on J1? J x

I am glad to hear that your various training techniques of the PL's have worked. I cannot convince momma to carry actual turkey in her pocket.

Hope Archie gets to practice his Mr. Cool with a real snow plow.

Turkey is delicious and I'm glad it did the trick for you Archie. Keep working on the desensitization and you will soon be a brave guy. Having your PLs smell like a deli is a good thing.

Can you explain why humans eat like pigs during Christmas season and after WE have to be put on diet because THEY are fat ????

It is good news that Archie is feeling better. Paws crossed that the running buffet of turkey continues to work.

Ummmm do you have lots of dogs following you on your walks these days?????

First off, I can't imagine which one of you could be considered overweight. What kind of standards are they using? It's not like either of you is supposed to have that heroin-chic look you see on the runway!

SO stinkin' glad to hear that the turkey is doing the trick for now. At least that gets both of your PLs used to carrying around the portable deli with them. Man, are you lucky pups or WHAT!?

We're lovin' that 2 ears up photo of ARchie. He looks so sweet and peaceful... hehehe.

Goober love & smooches,
Stanley

Great news about Archie! Sounds like he's found an excellent way to get loads of meatables. What a smart little dude he is.

Guess what?!!! I met a WFT last night. He ran with me a little bit and was pretty sweet, but not as sweet as you.

As if either of you are overweight. Fine pair of foxies both....um what did the Nutro guy say us foxies should weigh? The Dermo dogtor told us 8kilos... that's not even a Turkey leg or a wish bone. Must be wrong eh? So better not order too much turkey from the walking deli.Wagging the clicker training is working.

Wiry wags, Eric xx

Glad to hear Archie is doing better and outside walking around again, keeping the neighborhood in check.

Mommy got one of those cookie-producing clickers for me, too. She mostly uses it when big dogs are coming our way when I'm on the leash. I get a bit defensive sometimes and lunge and bark loudly. Now, if I met any of these dogs at the dog run, I'd give them a nice wig-wag and go about my business. But there's something about that leash...

So now I sit down whenever I hear the "click" and "dog" and get a cookie....then bark at the other dog!

Your pal,

Petey

Archie, we're glad to know you're feeling better! Mmmmmm...turkey!
We'll take it any time, any way! What a great idea to turn your PL's into walking delis! We don't have any snowplows here, in Georgia, but we have kind of the same reaction to the UPS truck or any LARGE truck!

Aire-hugs,
Poppy, Penny & Patches

congrats on the turkey success! and we're glad to hear that the snow plows are avoiding your street. that's the best news. of course, our offer still stands to help Archie eat his turkey or cheese or whatever other wonderful treats your PLs are handing out.

Oh Aggie...I just knew that clicker would help my poor Archie...and I think deli turkey is a small price to pay for the reward of seeing Archie prancin' in the streets don't you? (Are you sure PL2 isn't aware that this is the ultimate manipulation??? Haaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!) MMM and grilled cheese...I hope you don't have those MICE back...tell the PL's to um CHECK THEIR POCKETS before jammin' their hands in in this cold weather.

Um...so um...I'm just in a bit of trouble...

Well, my bladder was um full and Stan and I were playin' chasey/bitey face and well, I um PEED ALL OVER THE BED.

Frankly, I felt so much better. Now the sheets were off so I only hit the mattress pad and the mattress...I just don't know what the big deal is...the pee sank swiftly down into the ALMOST BRAND NEW 'spensive pillow top mattress...it now has a lovely Lakie scent to it...

Mumsie hasn't said a word to me cept when she calls me she uses a name of which I'm not very familiar...Scruffy sez it's a bad word...like the HBO kind...sheesh...

Do you think I could come up and sleep in the bomb shelter? Or even better on that soft mattress on top of it???

Thanks...Lacie

Thanks for letting me know how Archie is doing! My mom was going to call you on her way home from work the other night until I told her that she could KILL us if she was driving and talking on the celly.

p.s. I think mom helped you out a little cause I heard her mumbling about how she saw ten, count them, ten of them snow plows last sunday when she went for her long run - I can only presume that she kicked them all to break them for Archie!
