Some more birthday activities

Well really,it has been none stop over here.....We think you should really have a birthday more often than once a year.....We wanted to thank all of our dear friends for all of your birthday wishes on our chox box, and the lovely birthday concert card from Molly and Taffy, and the beautifull card from Blue, and the worm singing card from Tula and the cute party card from the Schnoodles and the wonderfull Jackson card from Lenny and the outstanding poem from Gussie and all of the other birthday wishes you guys gave us!! We also want to thank Eric,Lacie and Scruff and BabyStan,Toffee and Riley Hootie and Lucia who were very naughty and sent us lovely lovely presents even though we are spoiled brats( I didn't want to write that but the secretary got in here somehow) So here we are at the begining of the festivities...You may be wondering why Archie is looking alittle glum.....Well you see Eric sent us a package and in it he sent us some PARTY HATS!!!!!!

HA HA!! And Archie knew he was going to have to wear one!!!!! Look how happy he is!!! He was mortified and will be even more mortified because I told him I wouldn't put this picture up!!!hee hee..... He said that although he loves Eric this was pushing it.......

I told him to get over it.. it was a BIRTHDAY hat..and be bon vivant about it.......

See like me....You can even wear it on a jaunty little angle.....

Eric sent me this.............

I couldn't believe it.........I am going to hang it up in my bomb shelter as soon as I can figure out how....




And then he sent us this.......oh boy..... We had never seen this......
Here is Archie giving a demonstration of how to use this fabulous toy. He may be little over boistourous but we think that is a sign of a good toy, or it just may be a sign of Archie.....

Here I am playing with it...For our birthdays we each got a bath and Pl2 even washed all of our 12,000 beds so that is why bed # 11,998 isn't made yet....

Eric also sent us these...friends we do not have thse over here( that we have ever seen) They are delish and give your breath just a faint tint of the ocean.....

We are having a bit of trouble downloading in Blogger just now so we are going to divvy this post up as it is taking 12,000 hours to put anything up..We are sure you are ging to want to see the foot that Scruffy sent Archie and the Red Sox Jack in the Box movies and of course Archie with now his very own Santa Vacca Cow from Lucia,the flattened chicken from Hootie, as well as the cow that crackles from Toffee...so we leave you on pins and needles..........

What a day what a day!!!! We wish we had birthdays EVERY DAY!!!!!! First we had a little cake( imagine our surprise!! Asta planned the whole thing in SECRET and her Mom even took pictures!!!) It looks like a terrier convention!!!! Don't worry about how nervous Archie looks..He was watching Lacy because the candles were still lit and she was telling a joke and flailing her arms around and he was worried about the candles catching something on fire( that's my brother!!) Then after we all ate TONS of cake and ice cream we decided to go for a swim( Archie was worried again becausae he thought you weren't supposed to go swimming after you ate....)

I was so pooped my head fell and I didn't even know it......

Pre Birthday Eve

Well it is pre birthday eve.....We are going to be four tomorrow...Pl2 says it is hard to believe because she remembers when we looked like this....

A Fox and a Pink Flamingo

Check out this wicked cool toy...I got it from Asta..it is a FLATTENED fox....ooohhh I shivered woth excitement when I saw it.......AND it has an UNBELIVEABLE FEATURE...its squeeks in several places...........

Now here is somthing really funny....Archie has always considered Stanley his main man and he looks up to him( well he has his own country) and emulates him...So when Stanley came to visit,Archie got Stanley a present...a pink flamingo because he loves them.. and you know what Stanley got Archie A PINK FLAMINGO THE SAME EXACT ONE(Karma or what)



Look ...Archie is just a blur he is moving so fast with this kid.....

There is a small problem that he doesn't know about yet.....I uhhhhmmmm sort of wanted to play with that kid a little and when Archie wasn't looking I sort of ,well, DESTUFFED him.......Archie must never know or he will cry, or maybe even faint...expecially since his main man gave it to him.So PL2 is going to stuff it back together again(this should be ripe) and then he will never know...... We jut realized something....Our birthday is is 3 days!!! We are going to be 4 years old......YIKES how did that happen!!!! We will tell you all about the HUGE party we are SURE PL1+2 are going to have in our honor.......

MY E CERTIFICATE!!!!!!!

Well,imagine my surprise when PL2 called me over and said"AGATHA look what you got in the mail!!!" I GOT A CERTIFICATE FOR GETTING MY E!!!!!!! We didn't know I would get that!! And really the rat and bee stuffie were more than enough and actually more fun than a piece of paper....but it is quite exciting........(Superior was the breeders kennel name..... )

And guess what else!! Archie got a certificate as well for being the greatest coach ever!!!

Well really you can not imagine how excited we both are!!!! Now Archie is trying to persuade me to go the next level......SENIOR EARTHDOG!!!! I will have to look into this ......As for now I am quite content with my little E....( and rat stuffie...)

In case you were wondering about Archie and the nuts......I don't think he actually shelled them.... that was done by Pl1( I mean Arch is good but not that good....) and there weren't any whole nuts left so all he got were the shells....and yes he did have a little tummy ache for a day but nothing else......Will he learn from this???? I'm betting no... Actually he is holding a class today on table top , table and kitchen countertop surfing for the neighbood kids... PL1+2 don't know about it.......

HE'S AT IT AGAIN!!!!!

Last night PL2 and I decided to go to bed and read our mystery novels and left PL1 and Archie watching the basketball game...... This morning I thought I would help PL2 and clean up a little.I went into the living AND FOUND THIS!!!! Pistachio shells AND THE BAG( empty) in Archie's bed......... Now I am pretty sure that when PL2 and I left the living room ONLY PL1 was eating those.......I flew into the kitchen to ask Archie if he had done that and found this.........

It really is not easy........ And you also may ask why PL1 and 2 forget that Archie LOVES to table surf...........

The Best Day Of Our Lives!!!!!!

You can ask yourself what your favorite day of your life would be...Of course we would all say the day you first met your PL's,then maybe you would say the day you got your E, and then Archie and I decided yesterday was right up there with these days...You see, as you know someone has been taking a sort of DWB whirlwind tour.........and the tour STOPPED HERE yesterday.......We have been dreaming about it and talking about it for weeks......I am thinking about here on one of my newer beds( it is supposed to be on the coach but we kept throwing it off, so now we use it here..much better down here really) Now notice that the picture has an orange hue??? ( that is a clue) And we were going to meet.... a king of his own country, an international star, and my BFF..............

Right here, in our town, right HERE was THE GOOB!!!!!!!!Yes everyone our main man, the one and only STANLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look at that face.........IN PERSON,right here.......( we are on the Boston Common smack in the middle of Boston)

Archie at this point was hyperventilating......He had been practicing anti fainting techniques because he KNEW he might faint.......Here he is checking out if it is REALLY Asta.......

BUT WAIT.....IF THAT WAS NOT ENOUGH!!!!!! We are expecting one more.......Here is the Goob watching for her........

Asta was getting nervous as well and looking for her....( notice how she got her PL to get shoes to match her leash....so tasteful...)

Archie and I didn't know which way to look.....

IS THAT HER??????( Asta and I stopped talking about Lacies new smoothie concoction long enough to look..)

Archie is pretty close to fainting but his new technique seems to be working..........

It was too much for Stanley.......he had to sit for a minute.......

Yep you guessed it.... MS SOPHIE LA BRADOR ALL THE WAY FROM MONTREAL!!!!!

Look at her smooth smile.....Archie is looking at PL2 because he really could not believe it..... STANLEY ASTA AND SOPHIE....HERE in the Boston COMMON!!!! Stanley had to take a drink...... Archie wanted to take the bowl and bronze it and put it as a plaque in the Common but then I told him how would Stanley drink for the rest of his trip??

We were all just hanging around and the PL's were chatting.... Now where you might ask where our friends Toffee and Riley??? They had to go to Vermont and couldn't be here.....but we knew they were here in spirit and Toffee's Mom did call in to say hi to everyone......

Even Stanley could not believe that Sophie was there.....We decided to take a walk around Beacon Hill a beautiful section of Boston that is very quaint and lovely......

Sophie was looking deciding which way we should go....

We met up with this kid who was in a state of shock.. One because Stanley was 800 times her size and two because she had heard that they were coming and knew they were like royalty...( my brother can be a blabber mouth....and he put it in the Boston Globe....)

Asta and I were listening in( he might be a blabber mouth but he knows his history.. He learned it all from PL1)

Sophie decided to take a rest outside Senator Kerry's house( we tried to get INSIDE the house but Archie doesn't have that much pull....)


Asta was looking at the scenery....

Sophie was sniffing PL2's pants......

Then The Goob and Sophie sat and had a chat......

Here are Arch and PL1 and Asta's Dad doing a little bonding( we thought this might be a ploy to get Stanley and Asta together alone but to no avail..........We absolutely DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH TIME................. It was a little hot out and we were all exhausted and took a nap after our walk......We didn't even make it to the Arboretum.. so all of Archie's sweeping was......for naught!!( I TOLD him he didn't have to sweep the whole thing but you know him.........

So today they ares going to Maggie and Mitch's to take a hike up their favorite mountain......... as for Archie???????

Really, did you think those anti fainting techniques were going to really work?? Fainted....Trying to make it to his water dish .... He sat and thought of what happened yesterday......... He was heard mumbling in his sleep last night..... "My main man,you are really here,Asta.....you are even prettier than I though...Sophie..C'est Va??" So that my friends, is why

this day is right up there......Archie and I wish ALL of our DWB friends could come and visit.... Could you imagine???!!!!!!!!!!!
