How to begin preparing for the next season

So today is a brisk cool day. PL1 says each season gives you a preview of the next so this got us thinking that we should start thinking of autumn.....  Archie said he wanted to try out sleeping and looking out of the window at the same time...
He tried a different angle but was having a little trouble..........

He also wanted to get in shape for helping with making the bed when PL2 does laundry.....

I wanted to see how sleeping outside of my crate worked while at the same time bringing out my little blanket half way....
He got the angle down just right in this picture...

And of course my brother( who really has these techniques down rather well) is demonstrating being asleep while making everyone think that you are really with the program and listening to everything they say....
These techniques can be a little difficult so contact us if you need any tips.....

Thank you...those are good tips. We are noticing that morning walks are becoming a bit brisker, which leads us to wonder if muzzer knows which box contains Dog Sweaters.

Probably not. She doesn't know which boxes contain muzzer sweaters yet!

hoping fall gives us a couple more weeks.

Dear A+A
You know some people (stupid ones, obviously) might think that it is not so very important, finding the right angle on on the bed, or figuring out exactly what proportion of one's body should be inside or outside of the crate. So I am so glad to see that you at least recognise how much such things matter and give them due attention in your wonderful blog..

Oh my it was like freezing here last night and it's suddenly sweater weather but it supposed to get back up to 88 on Tuesday which stinks. And we don't have a grill for our Labor Day cookout cuz Daddy caught the grill on fire on July 4th and now what are we gonna do?

Aggie why did you bring that blanket outta your crate a tiny bit? Scruffy is forever messing up his crate pads and Stan sleeps on the bed.

Is it almost caramel apple time?

Sticky kisses,

Now that pose of head up and looking awake but actually being asleep requires loads of work. We try it but find our chins tend to hit the floor with a thud. So undignified. More tips please.

Archie is brilliant. And you can tell him we said so. (Don't worry. We think you are brilliant too, Aggie.)

Enough said.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the lesson on how to prepare for the next season. It was very informative. I have to practice sleeping and looking out the window at the same time. That requires two different skills, but I think that I can put them together.

Love and Lots of Koobuss Kisses,
Koobie

Isn't this weather fantastic? I LOVE it! I don't think I ever saw a post with so many sedentary photos of you two. Guess the summer wore you out.
