LOVE THAT DIRTY WATER ?

Well it has been a little busy around here this weekend.....PL2 had to work and while she was at work on Saturday

THIS HAPPENED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A giant water pipe burst that brings water to a gazillion towns........

This is a picture from the Boston Globe of the men working on the break........

So you couldn't drink the tap water because it was coming from reservoirs unprocessed so you had to boil everything.....no drinking, no brushing your teeth with it,.......

"MWRA is activating its emergency water supplies such as the Sudbury Aqueduct, Chestnut Hill Reservoir and Spot Pond Reservoir. THIS WATER WILL NOT BE SUITABLE FOR DRINKING, but can be used for bathing, flushing and fire protection"

This is the place we have shown you LOTS of times...loaded with geese and ducks and swans and other kids.......
WAIT JUST ONE MINUTE.....BACK UP........DO YOU MEAN PL 1and2 ARE SHOWERING IN WATER THAT WE WALK AROUND THAT IS LOADED WITH ALL THOSE GOOSE KIDS????

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

We were actively involved in boiling the water with PL1........( Arch says I look like a flatened stuffie here...HAHAHAHAHA)

WHEW..........

Is it ok PL?

PL2 on her way to work yesterday was worried about water at work so bought the last few bottles that were in the store to bring with her(wait...does that bottle way in the back look like water?????HMMMMMM) but she didn't have to worry because the hospital was well prepared so she brought it back home.....

DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW EXHAUSTING THIS IS TO BOIL WATER????( PL2 maybe you can dust today?)

What?

We have just heard that they have fixed the break and hopefully we can stop boiling in a few days..We hope so becausue this is ALOT of work.......

We get bouts of that during hurry cane season. But she never gives us tap water anyways. Says if she won't drink it, we shouldn't drink it either. Course, we try to take sips from mud puddles but get a nasty leash jank when we do.

sniffie,

Bonnie

I'm learning so much about the world from reading all these wonderful blogs. I guess the boiling water thing isn't a problem so long as you have a human to do it for you!

Goose poop?! Goose poop!!

I love goose poop! Please tell your PLs that it is just like caviar...that will totally make them feel better about the water situation.

That song is hilarious! I'm so glad your Parental Units have you two to get them through a rough time-it looks like you've been working hard!
Hope the boiling advisory is lifted soon!
( No, that bottle way in the back DID NOT look like water :-) !)

Can you imagine if that happened at my estate? Like I totally drink a couple of gallons a day for real. Hang in there little WFT's and PL's. They said one to two days so I think that means by the end of the week cause you know how those politicians like to spin stuff.

Mango

Meanwhile, you may want to keep a distance to PL1 and PL2 since they are showering in 'those' water!! :P

Maybe if you mix a bit of that Stoli with the water, it will kill any germies that are in there.

Ags, I hope they never fix that water main, because as soon as they do, you could be thrown in the bathtub at any moment. As long as it's broken, no bathies!

Good grief! Can only hope you two have now developed a taste for Evian or Fiji water (maybe some Smart Water for Archie) and will turn up your wiry noses at anything as mundane as tap water. Insist on having your water the way P1 has hers--straight up, in a proper glass, with a lemon twist or a bleu cheese-stuffed olive!

Your pal,

Petey

P.S. Keep in mind that even unboiled dirty water has to be safer than anything Lacie concocts in that blender of hers!

Wow, you two look exhausted having to boil all that water! That's a ton of work. And let me tell you, taken from a farm dog's perspective, geese are NOT housebroken. Boil, boil, boil! Then boil some more. Just sayin'.

Happy Tails,
William Tell

We saw where Mango was the one whose flatulance caused a seismic rupture that busted the water pipe and then all his SUDS ran in...

Oh...I so can't belive PL2 had to shower in his suds...have you ever smelled them???

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW...

Mumsie sez she's inventing a time machine for at work to go back to the days before computers...like about 1940 she said...course I reminded her she's going to have to boil all the syringes and needles...

And you KNOW that boiling water is a ton of work...

I think she should just learn to type with four paws like me...

Kisses, Laciecakes

That's stinks Twinnie. Or is that you Archie? Whatever. Smells smashing. Mmmmm goose poop in muddy water.See how my pupcake and I HAVE THE SAME TASTE. Umm..Why did that bit write in caps?

That's a lot of work boiling water.Poor Pl's. I know all about boiling water - I'm forever putting the kettle on to make the leggeds their endless cuppa's. You know a couple of years ago a relentlessy huge pipe water pipe burst up the road. Flooded the whole area too. Knee deep in water outside square dog house and not a drop to drink!

Wiry loves and oodles of kixxex Eric xxxxx
