You meet people in your life that have an affect on you and sometimes they are not people but dogs....How amazing our dogs are and what they bring into our lives. Our pal Jackson was just one of those dogs. When we first started blogging and were fooling around with it Jax said"HELLLOOOOO out there...Welcome to the world of bloggies!!" and he brought us in and introduced to some of the dearest friends we have made in a long time... He was always the first to welcome a new dog and make them and their PLs feel welcome. He was always thinking of others despite all that he was going through. He had a life of medical problems brought on by his start in life, but his J's adopted him and cared and nurtured him and gave him what he had missed and deserved to have.As long as he had his beloved J's by side life was good. .He underwent a lot in his little life and always had a heart full of love. He has crossed the bridge and no longer feels pain. And we all know that he is with many of our beloved friends there and that he will be there at the greeting post. So we hug and kiss his beloved J's. There are no words that can truly make them feel better right now and we all know how they feel. And we would like to say to our beloved leader of the Wire Fox Terrier Pack...
Here's to you darling boy....You will be dearly dearly missed. Until we all meet again...
A thousand million kisses Agatha and Archie and PL1 and PL2

Very well put guys. We are not wirey kids, but loved and respected his tenacity and feel so for J1 and J2. We dog folk understand the heartbreak. Did you read Petey's post? It made mom cry those happy/sad tears.
We have missed everyone and our secretary has assured us she will do her best to get back in the swing of everything.
Hope your water is better. Geeez
Hugs to both of you and pl1&2

There are a lot of (stoopid) people who couldn't understand how one little dog could have that much influence and power. But Jackson did. And we know it. And we understand it. He will be sorely missed and we hope and pray that his PLs feel come comfort as they are surrounded by those of us who are together as friends because of him.
Hoping sleep brings a teeny bit of comfort, as his star shines down on us.
Love

Oh no we didn't know about J. That's such upsetting news.

As we went on our nightime walk through the village last night we thought of Jackson, his family and you. It's difficult this morning putting out one bowl instead of two, shouting out come along mates and then changing it to come along mate, and feeling the confusion of the dog that's lost his playmate. You're in our thoughts.
What a wonderful post, guys. There can never be another Jackson. We will never forget him.
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

our little blog world won't be the same without our buddy, Jackson. he was a special guy.
woofs.
Oh dogness. We have started catching up, and committed to start with the first of May, not realizing that that would repeatedly remind us of Jackson's passing. That reminder is not a bad thing. It's just heart wrenching. And so sad. But maybe it's also a perfect reminder of how Jackson was the one who helped to bring all us wirey ones together, and because of HIM Moma is now feeling a huge urgency to catch up on all the lives of those we (it's true ... we'll all take responsibility) have lost temporary touch with during our two month hiatus.
But. Things are changing. Moma made reservations today. In Cambridge! Wooo hooo!
More soon,
Your hot wired pals,
Jake and Fergi
