Awards, a meme and you can not believe it

Things are starting to get back to normal here. We slept the whole day after the contest and this week we have just been enjoying this lovely weather( and not having to train a al Archie is great) Today we went to Jamaica Pond( SHE FORGOT THE CAMERA) and it was at its best.....
Well as we were so busy with our training and meditating and working on obtainment of that E we are VERY behind in posting some lovely things that we were given by our pals......so forgive the tardiness

Why do we love blogging??? Because it really struck us last Saturday how doggie and hammies and people from all around the world were rooting for 2 little dogs in Massachewsitts to win an E and they and their PL's were truly touched. And then blogging buddies actually even came to cheer them on!! That in a nut shell is why we love to blog!!!

I have been doing some serious shopping( I had to get my friends some Boston things didn't I?? ) and Archie?? He is soo nervous about meeting everyone,we have barely seen him. We had no idea what he was doing until he came back EXHAUSTED last night.... And what you might add was he doing?? He said he was sweeping the entire 12 million thousand acres of the Arboretum so it would look nice when we take our friends there......Oh boy..... How far did he get?? The front entrance...

Let me tell you , I do not know how much more I have in me here...... I was a nervous wreck(being her coach all the pressure was ENTIRELY on me......)

I will let her take over........ Arch and I didn't sleep so well because we were a little nervous.....and we got in the back of the car and were ready to go..............(ha ha notice how my side has all the nose marks)

Arch thought PL1 was taking too much time .......

On the way PL1+2 stopped here for a quick break( you know what I mean......)ARE YOU KIDDING ME????WHY ARE YOU TAKING A PICTURE OF THIS?????

AND A PICTURE OF JOHNNY FLIPPING APPLESEED???WE HAVE TO GET GOING HERE....(as you can see our nerves were a little on edge....)

OK so we finally got here( thank goodness there were no more Johnny Appleseeds along the way) and arrived here........

Now I was getting a little nervous.....but you will never guess who came and calmed me RIGHT DOWN......Can you see who it is??????

OK....I did a little quick meditating to calm myself down just like Archie taught me......

While I was doing this Archie was checking out the competition.......

Oh boy check out this kid...She started some trash talk like they do on the basketball court,but I was prepared because of Arch and let it slip off my back( MAJOR HBO WORDS HERE)

OK here is the J.E competition board......I was 105

Now Arch didn't tell me until later that now he got really worried because of the letter E on my number(look on the bottom left of the 105 ID tag...the E is really little and not fully formed...Archie thought it was a sign .....oh brother....)(um the IQ 3 is not my IQ it is introduction to quarry my warm up run .......)


OK....here I am with PL2 at my warm up run waiting for my turn....I was shaking I was so excited.......PL2 said all she could think about was how was she going to get me out of that tunnel without killing herself...)

LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE.....as they say in the boxing world!!!!!
Well I FLEW

through intro to quarry and had to rush over for the Junior Earthdog competition..PL1 and Archie got a movie of us walking out...( You can hear Arch ,the excitement was almost too much for him....)

We couldn't take pictures at the actual tunnel but once again I USED THE STEALTH BOMBER technique....quiet,quiet,quiet then BLAM attack attack attack...The Judge said he didn't even know I was up there I was so quiet!!! Then the Judge said that he thought I wasn't going to get it because you have to "work the rats" as they say in the business,which really means GO CRAZY and you have to do it for a certain time period and I stopped......2 seconds to go....but he said I had been going so crazy I HAD TO CATCH MY BREATHE!!!!!!!!!!!!Here we are coming back......VICTORY!!!!! and with an E!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I THREW myself on the floor next to my coach......THIS IS EXHAUSTING!!!!!!!






AND IF THAT WAS NOT EXCITEMENT....who do you think came to see us afterwards?????? Can you see him????? Not sure who it is??????

We all played the hot dog game for awhile.....what a great game.....you try to catch it in your mouth Norwood rules on this)

Then Archie saw this STUNNING wire named Bella,,she is a bit of a show dog and wins all kinds of things.......when she walked away( looking over her shoulder at him, Archie started to cry.....) Norwood came to the rescue and dragged us over to the pond for a swim.....

Ok not only did I see Toffe and Riley and play with Norwood and go swimming...BUT I GOT PRIZES!!!!!

I got this lovely glass(the Greater Boston Earth dog Club) which I am going to give to PL1+2 for being such good PL's.....

And this key chain( THAT IS THE GIRL BELLA ON THE KEY CHAIN!!!) gotta give this to Arch.......

Been getting a lot of pep talks from Archie, and tomorrow I have to carbo load( I thought that was for marathons, but after all he is the greatest coach.......) Pl2 has also been telling not to get too nervous and it is not a big deal if I don't get my E as long as I have fun.This is true but I would like an E.........so I will let you all know after the weekend..............Love,

BACK IN ACTION!!!!!! by Archie

Well we think the patient is back in action..She doesn't appear to be limping and is back to her

self. PL1+2 to be on the safe side are still carrying her up and down the stairs( and Aggie pumps her legs like she is pretending to walk...geesh...) Today PL1+2 were going to do something really fun but instead they had to have the car fixed. And because the dog walker was coming( because they thought they were going to do something really fun) they had to stay out for a few hours while the dog walker came....Sit down while I tell you this one....THEY WENT TO THE ARBORETUM WITHOUT US....yep you read that right...PL2 was mumbling on and on how the lilacs were only going to out for a short time so off they went.....And we know they felt guilty because every dog they saw they told them that they felt funny without us ...HA serves you right.... So ladies and gentleman she is back in action and will be participating this weekend for her E.......This is what we did while they were gone....... Ha Ha check out the ladder on the bed!! That is so she can't jumpt right now!!!!

E injury update

Archie here,on an E leg injury update.......What a day......Well the patient was brought to MY chiropractor last evening(7:40pm!!) and the verdict was that when she "flew" off of the bed she turned her whole leg and jammed her shoulder which jammed everything except her foot....So she got a treatment and some medicine... and she slept well all night. Today she has been putting a little more pressure on it but PL1+2 are still carrying her up and down the stairs and not really walking her. Aggie said that the view from up there is fabulous and why has she been walking all this time when she could be carried...... PL2 was sad because we missed our date with Toffe and Riley yesterday and she wanted to see the lilacs which are in PEAK bloom, so Pl1 stayed home with the patient and PL2 and I went to the Arboretum.We were going to go to the dog store after that and do some shopping as well.....So she parked the car and we heard a big noise and got out of the car and saw this......









Did you know that there are more HBO words than you usually hear on HBO??? So we had to wait for the AA man.Now the last time this happened( a tire blew....) it took a while to get the right tire....so PL2 is thinking,hhhmmmmm hope this is ready by Saturday for E day.........

Oh this has to be him............

So we didn't see the lilacs, we didn't get to shopping( and I always get a LOT of treats when we go....) and Agatha has been resting. I told her to elevate her leg...Too bad her injured leg is her front right leg............ We are hoping that she will be all better by then........

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YOU CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS..........I have not been able to sleep all night..I am a wreck, besides myself.............. I HAVE HURT MY RIGHT LEG!!!!!!!!!! YES THAT'S RIGHT........MY EARTHDOG DIGGING LEG!!!!!!! What am I going to do??????? I jumped off our bed last evening and then PL2 noticed I was limping alittle and now this morning I can't put a whole lot of pressure on it............. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! My trial is in ,well you know how many days...what if I have to get these???

Oh this is not good...PL2 gave me some medicine and she has a call into Archies Chiropractor...Archie has a call into the coaches of the Red Sox, Patriots .Celtics and Bruins in case they have any good ideas..........Will keep you posted........ Not only that but we had a date today with Toffe and Riley to go and smell the lilacs at our Arboretum........this is too much.....

Continuing with my E training

So the days are flying by fast and we are deep in the middle of my E training.....Let me tell you IT IS EXHAUSTING........ Here I am deep in concentration with my little purple jug toy.I am throwing it around thinking about the rats...( and also trying to get the cookies out.PL1 gave us these toys ON THE LITTLE BED and PL2 found us.......I don't think she would put the cookies on the bed but we LOVED IT)

And then Archie THREW himself on one of his 15,000 beds and COLLAPSED.......Agatha he said I think I may be overworking you for this E......because I am exhausted thinking things up........ I felt a little badly so I helped him get the stuff stuck all over his face and beard off....

And we CONTINUE ON..........

Stepping up the training

Well as you can see by the new countdown on the side of my blog( I had another one but PL2 somehow erased it and couldn't remember where she got it.........) I am stepping up on my training for my

E

I have been doing alot of running and digging(we have some lovely shots of our Arboretum which I must say is at it's loveliest) and Archie said as time is of the essence he has to speed this up a little...so now we are working on mental concentration(Archie says if you took out the word concentration after mental that would fit but I beamed him on the head and then he stopped laughing...Really doesn't he know the seriousness of all of this???) PL2 has been telling me that we have all summer to get this E but I want to start out on the right paw......Sooooo having said all of that, below is my latest exercise devised by my trainer.....I am on top of my bomb shelter, looking out the window,staring at A SQUIRREL( if you look closely you can see him TAUNTING me) The training is I must keep totally quiet and not bark............... This is part of my stealth bomb quiet technique some of you may remember that I employed last year while getting going through the tunnel to the cage.........quiet quiet quiet...........BLAM



The other part to this mental training exercise is that my trainer is on the floor AT THE ENTRANCE to my bomb shelter chewing on MY STUFFIE and I must keep totally silent........

CAUGHT IN THE ACT by archie

Well some of you may remember my ahem,SUPPOSED adventures with a bag of fig newtons ,a bag of brown sugar and a peanut butter sandwich( note I did say SUPPOSED always innocent before proven guilty) Well the PLs went off to work...and we were left to adventures of our own. My sister was off blabbing on her new cell phone which she just got this week( I didn't get one) and who knows WHO she was talking too( although if I had to bet it would be either Lacie or Asta...and all they do is talk about the wedding) so I was a little bored.......Now let me just tell you that PL1 has some records that he is switching to CD's.......on the floor.....in the room that I kind of hang out in............

And uhhhhmmmmmmm,Pl1 sort of came home from work while I was ahhhhhhhh just ahhhhhhhh looking to see who was on this record....yeah that's it.......... and took this photographic evidence....I mean ....... video..... Oh hi PL......

Oh.......is this Italian?? ha ha hee hee


What they can't figure out is how I got the cover off and the record is still standing...........and nothing else is knocked over........(houdini never told either....)
