STILL WAITING BUT WE SAW A SIGN!!!!

So a million months ago( well Sept to be exact) PL2 planted lots of these and daffodils by a tree that is in  the front of our house. She had a few left and she remembered something that her favorite gardener Alan Titchmarsh once said which was to layer extras in a pot and bring it inside....... Then they will come up earlier than spring to treat you and give you hope!!!!!!!!!! .LOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Now yesterday and today it has been warm and the snow is starting to melt a little......
Archie wanted a closer look........

He was amazed...

He asked PL2 how that happened....

Then he sat down to think about it......(he looks very fluffy because we just had a bath yesterday)

He brought it over to me to inspect

HA HAHAHAHAH it looks like I am trying to eat it!! (nooo just smell it...)

They say it is going to be FREEZING here tomorrow and it is going to last for awhile.. I am going back to wait.........

How lovely to see a sign of Spring. It has done nothing but rain here for about 2 weeks. If it were not for all the excitement over my birthday, I would be quite fed up.
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
PS We did not realise that Alan Titchmarsh had achieved world domination!!!
PPS Agatha looks nice and cuddly to me.

A bath, eh? Maybe bad timing because one sure gets nasty dirty walking about in the melting snow. Which will continue to melt today for sure even though the wind is blowing and it feels cold.

It is wonderful to have a sign of spring right inside your own estate. It will be here everywhere soon.

Mango

Hey A+A, hang in there-remember that varmint groundhog predicted an early spring:-)

Parental Unit said that there's nothing cuter than a freshly bathed Wire...I beg to differ!

We TOLD Moma to do the same thing. Plant those extra bulbs in a pot. But no. They are in a bag in the freezing cold garage. And it's gonna be forever before the ones outside poke up. (We FINALLY saw the ground today ... first time since before we left in December). So. When she complains. We're not gonna listen. We'll just imagine ourselves there.

By the way. Jake got a bit muddy in Camelot and got a shower. He's white and fluffy, too. I think I'm next.

Um...fluffy??? You look electrified!! Did you use rollers? OMD...I am SO gonna ditch my flatiron and go for the wild and crazy look...

As for that HI A CINTH...I'm thinkin' if you chop it up, melt a little butter and stirfry it, it could be delicious! They are Mumsie's favorites...um...no, no for eating. She just likes to stick her nosie in them.

And as for her peemail to PL2 about ME maybe working the other day. I may wear um short scrubs with a bit of a ruffle...I may giggle and tra la la, BUT I so know where my charts are after five minutes, not three hours, my meds are passed on time, and baths are a priority...that was NOT me.

Sheesch.

Yummmm...you need to pop that blue boy into some wheelie stew not smell it.I peed on a big old clump of daffies this week. Their little yellow heads were out the next day. I'm a much better gardener than Alan don'tcha think?

Wiry loves and kisses Eric xxxx

Has it melted yet???

It was 50 here today...course we found the last snowpile, dug in it, then peed on it. Stan had two baths today.

MUD. This isn't Mumsie's favorite season. Oh, and she's borrowing Daddy's laptop...her puter is DEAD.

As in maybe the motherboard? Or something...sheesch.

Kisses,

Lacie
