Here we are outside the fence.Archie can't believe what a nice job they have done(you don't know what I had to do to drag him away from his cooking show on TV, He said he was learning how to make cream puffs.....this is a phase that better stop soon....)

I was a little sad we couldn't go swimming but PL1 said it was a little too deep for us......

These swan kids came out of no where..and they came RIGHT over to us!!!!
This particular kid was trash talking to Archie.......
He called me over for back up and this kid decided two against one wasn't a good deal(smart move...)

Now this was on our way to the reservoir but PL2 is having a hard time moving pictures on blogger so it is down here..Of note in this film there is a demonstration of synchronized peeing....PL1 found this....... Check out what kind of dog they use!!!!

This is on one side of the reservoir... It was a Water Works building and now????Yep condos...
This was also a part of the water works( where the pumps were) and now we think there may be a museum inside.....

And then........what happened???????WATCH CLOSELY......a CHIPMUNK darted in front of us( please note who is doing the lead on this investigative hunt and who is just sort of hanging around.......) Well it really was a job for a Junior Earthdog.
Now in our next film we would like you to note the 8000 geese that are hanging around..Now usually Archie goes NUTSO with them around,but not today. Why you might ask?The wind was blowing his ears straight up and he said he was enjoying himself.......We are hoping we have good weather this weekend so we can have some more walks in the fabulous sun!! We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!! (Archie is hoping his TV show will be repeated so he can see how to put the filling in the puff...)

Agatha, That looks like a fabulous spot to walk ..... and swim. If I come back, I will take you for a swim on my back because nothing is too deep for me. I just got back from swimming in the river on the north shore. It was really nice and I chased a bunny! But mom was really mad, because there is poison ivy in the bushes. What can I say? I'm only doing my job.

Agatha... not to worry about Jake. He watched the chipmunk-chase video carefully. Several times. There is hope now that he knows that part of the fun is in the pursuit, not the kill.
We loved seeing your walkie. It makes us a bit homesick, but we know there are lots more fun things for us to do here.

Oh my...thank doggie Stanley wasn't there for the geese part...whenever we're on a walkie and we see geese, Stan has to be carried cuz he freezes and won't move and tucks his tail and looks totally petrified...we've been worried before he might faint...that'd be a THUD, huh?
Now, that film of you both synchonized peeing is the best yet...has it been nominated for anything????? It was pawsome!!! You started and stopped at the exact same time!!!

We got the buffalo bones at the Especially for Pets doggie store (I don't know if there is one near you, but there is one in Sudbury you could check out next time you go to the Framingham VET).
Tell Archie to keep working on his pee pee form. No point spraying straight up.
UPDATE!! Jake is totally getting into hunting lizards!! Every evening he takes his stance (inside) looking for them out the window.... studying their behavior and improving his identification skills. And, more importantly, outside.... IT'S ALL HE CAN THINK OF! Whenever he goes out for potty breaks, he immediately lunges for the perfect lizard lounging areas - leash taut - Moma gripping it firmly - and makes a mad dash in pursuit of the scampering little amphibians. YOU'D BE PROUD!
Now.... it takes all the energy out of him... he's sleeping.
