Sit back and relax, put your paws up,because we have ALOT to tell you!!! So it all started 2 days before the big match. PL1+2 were watching TV ,on the couch, having a cup of tea and a cookie.. a FIG NEWTON,to be exact. Now there are 18 cookies in a bag(this is important for this story) and PL1+2 had each had 3....( that would leave TWELVE COOKIES right?) So PL2 gets up to go in the kitchen and PL1 goes down the hall....and PL2 says"What is that noise??" and she goes back into the living room AND ARCHIE HAD THE FIG NEWTON BAG AND WAS STUFFING THEM INTO HIS MOUTH,AND ATE ALL THE REST OF THEM!!!!(he was smart enough to leave the plastic and the wrapper) WHAT A PIG! TWELVE COOKIES and he didn't even leave me ONE!Now OF COURSE he had a bit of a tummy ache(let's think here FIGS....) so needless to say my training came to an abrupt halt...........This could be a small reason why I Agatha the great Safari Hunter, am still Agatha J without the E(Junior Earth dog) and here is the story......
Here is the place where we went..It is about 1 1/2 hours away..
PL1 took this film so you could get a feel of the place.....
I started to get a little nervous......We had to check in here....
I had number 4 for the Introduction to Quarry(my warm up) and 103 for my Junior Earth dog event. PL1+2 being the city people that they are were embarrassing us because this place is a little buggy and they were dressed so that every inch of them was covered so they wouldn't get a tick and then they put this junk all over them AND THEY STANK.......PL2 said if she could have she would have worn a coat of armor(she HATES ticks) We were mortified....( the collar is ours)
Here we are waiting for my warm up run( Can you see PL2 wore here Wirestock shirt?? While PL1 was taking the picture they called my number and the man said "Oh wait a minute she is having a photo shoot with the paparazzi"( I wanted my hair to look good)
Here are PL2 and me waiting at the tent,A million thoughts were going through my head, all the rules, all the things you have to do, everything down to the SECOND.........and I HAD TO WIN FOR JAX...........
PL2 could see I was really nervous and told me that I shouldn't worry,,,If I didn't get my E Jax would understand, and he knows I love him.....Don't put so much pressure on yourself....You don't have to have a title after your name you just have to have fun....and then she said the magic words.......
GO TO GROUND AGGIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(
And here we are right now...Archie tried to lift his head to say hi but couldn't(MAYBE BECAUSE IT IS FULL OF FIG NEWTONS)
Goon night everyone! Sweet dreams!!! Archie and Agatha "J"

Oh Aggie...
I'm so sorry to hear that you didn't get the "E" to go with your "J".....I am sure that you will get it next time. It takes us about 1 1/4 hours to get to earthdog practice and we are going tomorrow. Wish you could live around here and go with us as there are not any wire foxies there either...mostly Dachshunds, Westies, Cairns, Welsh terriers and a few Scotties...
Wow, I hope we can get to the rats in 30 seconds....I'm gonna practice real hard....
You get rested up for the next test....cause we know you will get your title then...and tell Archie not to eat so many Fig Newtons...what was he thinking? Such a Pig.....
Asta Marie, WFT
You gave it an old college try to get your 'E' and that's all anyone can ask. Glad you had fun because that really IS the point of the competitions anyway, isn't it.
Levi's mom
hi A&A, we're sorry you didn't get your E, Agatha. it looks like you had fun though and you can always try for your E later.
that's a hilarious story about Archie and the fig newtons. we're glad he only got a tummy ache rather than getting seriously sick.
woofs.
Well at least you had fun! Figs? I'm going to try those!

Hey Aggie,
You'll get your "E" next time. We think you did really well. The mans timer was probably a little off anyhoo.

Aggie! Those Earth Dog people don't seem to understand that with a diva like you, it's not about the time; it's about the technique. I bet you were the most stylish technique of any of those pups.
But listen .... seriously .... did your PLs have to spend the whole night outside with Arch after that fig newton incident. I sure hope he hasn't turned into some sort of anorexic going for some sort of crazy laxative effect. You tell him to keep his chompers off the FNs. I think he looks fine just the way he is.
Miss you lots!

You will have you "E" next time. OK ?....Véronique loves to watch your video, again and again....she always try to play "who is who"....hahahaha you are so cute !
Kisses, Faya
Hi, Agatha and Archie!
Don't worry! You will get your E next time. I know you can do it!
Archie had a fig feast! I hope he will not feel sick!
I am not so sure about the Red Sox... but sure I'd put a picture of the Patriots over my bowl!
Kisses and hugs

sorry you didn't get your E, but you are right that it is all about having fun, not about winning. I am sure Jackson is very proud of you. My dad HATES all bugs, so he would be just like your PLs. Poor Archie and his guts, I bet 12 fig newtons sounded like the best idea ever when he was eating them!
Fig biscuits? We don't have that brand over here but J1 is screwing up her face at the thought of them! Eewwww!
I think your PLs are right to be paranoid about ticks. One of the Js' pals went for a walk recently through a field of long grass and ended up with 11, yes that's right, 11 ticks on him! Being a city type he didn't know how to get rid of them. The Js thoughtfully sent him a dog tick remover because he is rather a hairy lad (but obviously not as hairy as a dog).
Sorry you didn't get your "E" Agatha, but I bet you had fun right? And that's the most important thing, after all...J x
Never mind Agatha you did your best - worrying about the Jax won't have helped & as you said it's all about having fun.
Love, pats & pets to you both
Blue
PS - funnily enough I bought myself some fig rolls yesterday!
I'm sure you will finish your title at the next trial, Agatha. What was Archie thinking to eat all those Fig Newtons? I once at a box of oatmeal cookies so I can imagine the effect!
Glad you had a fun time at the trial and represented for all the WFT.
Your friend,
Niamh
Good job, Miss Agatha! So you went a little slow to savor every moment! You did it all just right!
Eeeeewwwie ticks. We don't blame your PLs.
we got to eat Figgie Newtons for a while because someone thought it would make Swede William not eat poopsnacks if there was Figgie Newtons in them. We enjoyed the Figgie Newtons and Swede William enjoyed the Figgie Poopsnacks even more! EEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW.

Hey Guys..my hooman female is buggy too. They love her. And she has smelled really funny ever since we came to Tennessee. But tell J1 and J2 that it doesn't seem to help at all. She even has bites on her fingers! hahaha...now she can't tell ME to stop scratchin, cause she scratches more than I do.
gussie
Oh, don't fret too much. I know you will be able to get it soon! Just as long you had FUN. Isn't that the most important thing? I hate it when I enter for competition just the sake to get a tile or to win a trophy but not have fun...
Butt wiggles,
Solid Gold Dancer
I know that you both are great athletes, and you don't need any title to prove it!
However, Archie is being recognized today in the Pawlimpics!!!! Come check it out!
Even though I hate baths too, it's good to be careful of those nasty ticks. My grandpa got bitten by one and now he has to take medicine because he has Lyme disease!!!
Your friend, Lenny
Twinny my sweet. What's a E between friends? You are of course pawfect with or without out.But you will get next time...and I'm sure savouring the moment is more impawtent than a headlong rush to Mr Ratty. However maybe if you eat one or two fig newtons prior to the event it might make you rush around like a mad thing? He,he, Archie and his 12 figgy biccy's, that's going some - oh, he,he, unitentional pun there!!
Wiry wags Eric
No worries! You'll get your E next time!
Fig Newtons are one of the cures for dogs who eat poops! We guess no one will be eating your poo, Archie! hehehehe
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
Aggie
Did you have to pump Archie's tummie??/
12 Figgy newtons..Oh Myyyy
don't wowwy about what lettews you have I think the impowtant thing is that you had a gweat time, and I bet Jax was pwoud of you fowdoing it, and enjoyed watching you like we all did
Congwatulations..you'we a winnew in my book always
smoochie kisses
ASTA
Oh man I remember when I ate a whole cake by myself while my people were gone -- a small hazelnut banana-bread-type cake, but I got a little sick from it. I'd eat too many fig newtons too if I could! Sorry to hear about the getting sick part...
Hey was that the Gardner MA Earthdog test?? I'm an old Earthdog from 'way back (well, 2002) and Mom knows about that one although it's too far for us to travel to from Virginia. I'm used to being the only Bedlington at Earthdog tests, too. Just practice squiggling really fast in the dark and you'll get that last leg!
Love,
Rudy
(Master Earthdog)
Dear Archie and Agatha
Well done Agatha for such a sterling effort to get your E. It will be yours soon just keep on going.
Archie I quite understand your taste for buscuits. I used to eat everything and anything including at one point an entire pack of butter. I too had to stand out side for ages.
Take care
Samwise
Let us get this straight...first of all Archie ate 12 Prune er Fig Newtons?? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA...gulp...hahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaa...howmany trips did ur peeps have to make DOWN ALL THOSE STAIRS with him??????? Oh Crimenys...that's hilarious!
Um...Aggie...judging from the video...ya know the one where you like used the facilities for forever...the 21 seconds late ya were for the meeting with the rats...did you stop in the ladies room AGAIN? What in the world did ya drink before you got there? Coffee...ya stopped for a giant Starbucks before ya got there...that's why you were feelin' nervous and all...
Oh Sweet Aggie...at least you were the absolutely HOTTEST DOG there...
Hang in there...you can get those rats the next time...and don't stop for coffee!!!!!
Love and kissies...
Scruffy
A & A....oh my poor Archie...ur tummy must feel horrible...are you sure Aggie didn't eat some of them? We never knew you were supposed to eat them for dogs who like to eat er...that means Mumsie will buy us some so Scruffy doesn't well...never mind! Archie, get Aggie to snuggle up against ur tummy, Kay??
Aggie...of course it took 51 seconds to get to the Rats. You obviously had to make a fur adjustment, didn't ya? What do they expect?? And if you get some of that earth under a nail, you probably had to do a nail repair...pawfectly understandable...you'll get that E in the fall!!!
Barkin' at ya!!!
Laciegirl
I think we only need "E"s if they're wedged neatly in the word "fEast"! You sure looked stupendous out there hunting!
Are fig newtons tasty? I've never seen that kind of meat before...
Oh my crap! I can't believe Archie was lucky enough to eat all those fig neutons! How is his pooper feeling today? Is it worn out yet?
Maybe next time you will get the the "E", Agatha. Just don't let Archie distract you with figgy farts!!!
Slurp!
Mr. T-Bone Beasley
51 seconds is really fast, I think anywaz. I think you don't need an award. You are terrific and you should just have lots of fun....
Deetzy Boy
12 cookies? All went to that tummy, no wonder you were out!
Sweet dream, lovely A&A.
Cheers!
Well done, Agatha! Next time, maybe eat some Fig Newtons and you'll run faster too. I think you did a wonderful job.
Your pal,
Petey
That's so greedy of Archie to finish off the Fig Newtons...he should have shared! Oh well,I guess he learnt his lesson through his tummyache...*wink*
The competition looks very interesting...what is the Earth Dog competition about? Is it an agility trial? Anyways, I think you did awesome,Agatha!
