Agatha Update and our Urban Woods Walk

Well.I went to the Vet yesterday and although he really is a nice guy,IT IS NOT PLEASANT,esp how they get your temperature(and I am not going to be specific but you can figure it out) Plus they had to get a pee sample and I had been peeing all day,so that was also NOT PRETTY how they got that....but I am on some medicine and we are waiting for the pee culture results and I probably have a urinary tract infection. The Vet said he could tell I was not myself (then who was I ?) because I didn't growl when he put me on the table( hmmph) I am feeling a little better but not quite 100% but Arch and I had been waiting all week to go to this place for a walk and I needed to get out so off we went!

PL1+2 found this little bitty sign right outside the fence to go in......

We sat down and decided which way to go.......

It was quite pretty with big rocks...........

And a little pond to the right.........

And we chose this path.....

I immediately found a place to dig( but PL2 said I was really only doing it half heartily and that was the only way she could tell I still was a little off.....

Here is a post dig shot......

Archie tried too.......

And here he is post dig..

We were onto something big here........

A pretty little bridge....

Archie, thinking about what supper will be.....

Checking out this fence.......

Wait,I hear something deep in these woods...An animal?Coyote?Turkey?Arch enemy squirrel?

No.......HOW ABOUT THE TROLLEY!!!!! THE FLIPPING TROLLEY in the MIDDLE of the DEEP WOODS!! Way to go PL2!!!

Well after that shock we continued on our merry way through the DEEP woods.......

Wouldn't this make a great bomb shelter? I could fit ALOT of toys in here..

But wait,,,,,What's that ahead??????

MACY'S.................Gee,I didn't know that when you go on a hike in the DEEP woods you can go shopping too............

Tee Hee......So that was our urban woods adventure..........

A & A...Glad to hear that Agatha is feeling a bit better, hope she is back to fast and fiesty really soon. Loved the urban walk, and your photos are fabulous. Fall here means the temps are finally below 90. For a few days at least. Urban warming...Al Gore I believe!

Oh Agatha...that walkie is just my style...get tired; take the trolley. Get bored; go shopping. Nature can be just so exhausting!
So sorry you had plumbing problems. Do you have stones? Poor Girl...the vets is nasty. But the medicine is pretty good...I just finished up mine for my bladder infection. Mumsie would put my pills in bread smooshied up. Scruffy got some too without the pill. Well, Mumsie is burnin' the ribs in the oven, and I have to go and help her take them out. Ya goin' to Suki's pawty this weekend? Hope you feel better. Maybe the girls will just take over the Ladies on Aire Ruby and drink our Rubitinis in there so you won't have to run so far in an emergency!

Agatha, Sorry to hear about your veterinary indignities, but I'm glad that they will fix you up good as new. Your walking place looks fantastic ... well, until the Macy's bit. But the rest was gorgeous!

OH Agatha... I love a girl that digs. Maybe we can go digging together, along with Archie too... But, when I saw your photo with the dirt... Well, what can I say. My heart skipped a beat.

I do hope your vet tests come back fine.

what lovely woods - apart from the shop! Wish I could have been with you for the digging. I just love it, and I bet I could have got a few tips on technique from you two diggerdogs.

Hope the medicine helps soon, Agatha, as it doesn't sound like a lot of fun.

Hi A&A, firstly, we hope that Agatha is getting better and we are sorry for the humiliation that you suffered at the vet's office. we are sorry about your pee pee. and now regarding your deep woods adventure walk - what a beautiful place. it's lovely with the changing leaves colors and the pond and the **trolley** and **Macy's**. what the heck! is was wonderful until those abominations appeared! your faces were way too clean after that digging. we think you need to go back and finish the job.
so have fun and stay out of trouble! hee hee

Agatha, I am pleased to hear you are feeling a bit better.

oh your video frightened the darn life out of me when I watched it, how shocking to see a train in the middle of the woods like that!

Apart from that shock, your woods look very similar to mine!

Keep getting better, love and healing licks, Marvin and Love to Archie too!

ps that thermometer routine is just so darn awful isn't it?

Even if the woods were near to the big shops, they were still jolly nice with all the autumn leaves. Hope you're feeling a bit cheerier now dear Agatha.

Wow!!

That was quite an adventure! Hope you had fun, but my dear Agatha, you do look like you are sick on your close-up after digging, you poor little dear. I feel sorry for you. I guess making crystals in your pee isn't easy.

It's pretty neat that you have a trolly in the middle of your woods. And they go so fast, too. We don't
have any trollies in our woods here in Mountain Top, PA, only trees.

Koobie
