THE BOSTON MARATHON!!

Ladies and Gentleman, hammies and kitties, We are now officially opening our summer Boston tours beginning with THE BOSTON MARATHON!!!! which took place today.Sit back and enjoy the tour!!!!!!! Now the city over the last 3 or 4 days has swollen in size due to the hundreds of thousands of people who came for the marathon, and you can hear all kinds of languages being spoken!!! It is held on Patriots day( a holiday commemorating the Battles of Lexington and Concord,the first battles of the Revolutionary War. We did have a bit of role in that) The whole city has an electric feel to it.....because it is the marathon of all marathons... the one to run in.... the only course of its kind....THE..............It is a pretty grueling course with the hardest part being a section called Heartbreak Hill which is actually a series of hills that the runner hits after running downhill for a long time and then BLAM....has all these hills to go up at the end.......

We are only about 2 miles from the finish line..........that is when people are getting very very tired and we have to really cheer them on.....

The thing we love about the race is that of course we love to see the world runners ( they finish in about 2 seconds because they look like gazelles) but that there are people running to raise money for causes, and people who run for family members who are sick.There is a Dad who pushes his son in a wheel chair.His son has cerebral palsy and they have been running the race for 28 years and the son is now 47 years old and his Dad 68 It is the most touching thing to see( PL2 always cries...) It is people who have a personal goal..... It is people in their 80's....It is everyday people .....it is a collection of people from all over the world getting along...it is wonderful.....
There are drink stations all along the route so the runners don't get dehydrated.....

Not only are there a gazillion people from all over the world running but all their families watch as well( we took this for Sophie in case she knew anyone)

OH LOOK AT THIS KID!! He is an Italian Spumoni (really Spinone)named Luigi...PL2 has been dying to see one.He was the sweetest kid ever and was loving the race and cheering everyone on. He also said he has a blog so we are going to have to try to find it....

One mile more.....crowds are getting really thick.........

Can't figure it out?? It is the lights on at FENWAY PARK!!!! Every year on the day of the race the Red Sox have an early morning game that lets out RIGHT WHEN THE BIGGEST CROWDS ARE COMING THROUGH( and are only about 1/2 mile from the finish line) SO THEY CAN CHEER THEM ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhhhhhhhh our beloved Fenway Park( this ones for you Fenway!!!!)

That is the back of the Green Monster ( Monstah)which is a big green wall at the back of the field...... and is very famous to baseball aficionados..... Lots of balls are hit over that wall...Kids stand here when a game is going on with their baseball gloves hoping to catch a ball hit over the monstah.........

(" way back ,way back., it's outta here...... A HOME RUN OVER THE WALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

And Big Popi(one of our favorite players) had a good game today( that was for Big Pupi)

What a great day.............And so ends our first summer(well really spring) tour....Agatha is just soaking her paws after running the marathon while I think up the next training event for her....( part of my training program.........for her E!!!!!)

Oh boy I really fainted this time........the anticipation was too much for me...Do you think my head is ok?

PL2 here.......As they couldn't get too "motivated" I made an executive decision and we went to JAMAICA POND!!!!!(Toffee and RIley we missed you...) and dug and dug and walked and walked and now they are right back in the same postions........ More to follow.......

A Post by me, Archie( for a change) at the Chiroparctor

Hi everyone,Archie here. I thought I would write for a change as my sister HOGS it all the time and I wanted to tell you about my Chiropractor visit today. Now as you all remember a while back I was having problems with both my knees and then my back.( remember that is when I got the flat screen for my crate and learned the HBO words like Tanner?) And PL1+2 thought I was going to need surgery. And ever since then I haven't really been able to do stairs yet(well I can go down but not up....) Well today my Dr said I was the best I have been since I started and haven't slid backwards. so I thought I would show you my visit because I am so happy!!!! Now since I have started going here my knees have not popped out ONCE!!!!! My back acts up a little here and there( it could be due to the fact that my sister sneak attacks me and jumps on me all the time) but all I have to do is get a "tune up" and then I am OK. My Dr says I should never need surgery and once I am totally tuned up will only have to come in once in awhile!!!!!!!! here I am in the office waiting for my Dr to come in.......





Since I didn't see her I thought I would check up to make sure she had enough water for the weekend.........





Better check the little frig as well (and the cookies on top of it...)





This is the table I stand on and PL2 holds on to my collar and holds her hand out. Then Dr Anne checks my points (by pressing on PL2's hand) to see if any are weak( PL2 and I are a little sketchy on how this part works but it does so who cares we say....)

Now we had lots of pictures of this happening but I would show one to PL2 and she would say OH Archie you can't show that why I look awful, or Oh Archie it looks like I have 4 chins. or Oh Archie I look like I weigh 400 pounds there......GEESH so I only ended up with this one.....Normally PL2 would have her left hand up and Dr Anne( in the pink) would be pressing on it) BUT NO she wouldn't let me show that one( that was the one where her chin did look a bit exaggerated shall we say)

After I have my treatment I get EXHAUSTED and can barely keep my eyes open( PL2 says do not look at how dirty Aggie and I are as we are going to get groomed...WHAT??!! ...this week)

Agatha came over to tell me that maybe I should go to my bedroom and be more comfortable....

So I did............... Uhhhhh Aggie here...... Actually I told him to go to his bedroom because I didn't want him to see that there was a little, ahem, how shall I say, accident ...on his new bed...........




Oh geesh I hope he doesn't see PL1 and me trying to get the cover back on after we washed it.......

NOOOOOOOO it wasn't me who caused the accident..... PL2 spilled some soup on it . We were THRILLED to hear Arch got a good report today because he seems to have been in a holding pattern there for while....... And PL1+2 LOVE their chiropractor and are so happy Arch the lad is getting (slowly) better!!!! PL1 and I played a good game of Cuz while they were gone........ PS Opening day happened the next day..... and it didn't rain....and the flowers are coming out,the Sox are playing ball, Archie is getting better, Earthdog trials are soon to come and life is good.....

RAINED OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh man, we can not believe it. We have been waiting ALL week for today and guess what???IT IS POURING RAIN and they pushed the opening game forward to tomorrow. What good is that?? PL2 was off today not tomorrow and she was going to watch the game with us and let us eat popcorn and stuff............And our friend Wally( that is the kid below who works for the Rex Sox )was going to come over.......Now we have to wait a whole day......

Well imagine our surprise when PL2 called us over and told us we had a SURPRISE in the mail from our best friends Jake and Harry!!!!!!! HOLY MOLY....IT IS A PICTURE OF MIKE LOWELL ONLY MY MOST FAVORITE RED SOX PLAYER!!!!!!!(they like him alot as well!!!) Not only do I love him but PL2 really likes him as well. not only because he is adorable but because he was ill and is better and is a great role model( that is the nurse in her I think) for people who have been really ill.....Arch likes him too but as you know he is more into football....

Then I had a HUGE dilemma.......where should I put this picture?????In my crate??????

In my new bed( yep you read that right..PL1 got us these lovely new plush beds,because we only had 14,000 beds and needed 140001.Doesn't it look bare without any pictures????

OH wait a minute...Maybe with my dining dishes(where I happen to already have a few Red Sox pictures..)

CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS????OF COURSE!!! the PERFECT PLACE..MY BOMB SHELTER!!!! I went to call in Archie to help me find the right place......

First I checked IN the bomb shelter( not of course allowing Archie to see what was going on in there) but then I felt badly because no one but me would be able to see it in there( and of course there was the simple fact that I couldn't stand it up )

What about right here? What...Move it over a little?


Yep this is just the right spot.....Thankyou our dear pals(and I might even let PL2 look at it alittle as well)

We can not even tell you how behind we are in reading every one's blogs..and we can see that we have missed a LOT of parties( like Petey's for example) and dating and ALL KINDS OF STUFF.... so we will try to catch up this weekend.......) And remember(especially you Norwood, Tula and Mango....) TWO MORE DAYS TO OPENING DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

OUR COMPUTER WAS SICKand happy spring!

Well we never..Our stupid computer was acting up and we have our suspicions as to why( that would be PL2 doing something goofy to it.... so we missed a lot of posts and couldn't even email any one and we all felt as if the world had come to a crashing stop( now that is telling isn't it?! Couldn't even function without it)Wait until you see what Jake and Harry sent us!!!!!!!!! (that will be our next post..) AND GUESS WHAT!!!!!!!!! FIVE DAYS AND COUNTING!!!!! UNTIL WHAT YOU ASK????? SEE IF YOU CAN FIGURE OUT!!!!!!
