Hi everyone Ags here Wait till I tell you this one......

So PL1+2 were taking us out on our last evening walk( this picture is a reenactment cuz I didn't have the camera at that exact time. This was taken at the Arboretum. Nice crisscross action huh!) So we were walking and there was a guy on the other side of the street and he said"Hey is that dog a SHOW DOG?" I was turning every which way to see who he was talking about, well really I felt sure he was talking about me.....) and I see PL1 TALKING TO HIM! WHAT ARE YOU KIDDING ME?HE WAS TALKING ABOUT ARCHIE!(who was wearing his winter coat and every other step trying to shake it off.. Try that sometimes it does work to get it off..) And PL2 starts LAUGHING and says Him?

HELLO dearest pals!! We are here to wish all of you a happy healthy and peaceful New Year. We have missed all of you dearly and will be better in the new year. Archie and I hope that this new year brings all of us many lovely treats and toys and new beds and stuffies and WAIT A MINUTE............We better think this through or PL2 will butt in and say something about thinking of others and stuff... We are thinking of those who have crossed over to the Bridge and we miss them a lot, and we are sending prayers for all of our pals who are ill, and of course we hope for a world full of peace and joy and happiness....and really is it so awful to wish for just one stupid little stuffie and maybe a few cookies? (she just said that was ok and she said to tell of you that she loves you to bits and wishes all of you the same...)

WHO DID IT? and famous visitors

HELLLOOOOOOO everyone!! We must tell you about our very important visitors from across the pee.... MOLLY MONTY WINNIE AND TAFFY!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME???????!!!!!!!! WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA were we excited!! As you can see in the picture below my brother was so excited he was looking the wrong way........( well I sort of am looking the wrong way as well but .......) We showed them all around Boston and then had lunch with them( we kind of barked throughout lunch... alot..... BUT WE WERE SO EXCITED WHAT COULD WE DO?????)

What is the next picture you may ask? Only a box of little pastries that PL2 had for our very important guests...... chock full of lovely pastries Why is there cleaning up paper in the box????

And why do the pastries look all smooshed up?? and a mess??? PL2 was in the dining room and she heard a crash and went into the kitchen... There was the box of pastries on the floor......... I was NOWHERE near there... and there happened to be a large trail of crumbs from an apple tart leading into my brothers bed...... and then he came out looking a little smirky...... AND DID THIS.............

So the summer is over and fall is here.Arch and I thought we would welcome fall in in a culinary way
Exhibit A...... That would be me..You see PL2 went to the store and took us. We waited in the car and slept.Then she stopped at the French bakery....and bought a baguette...... YUMMY WE LOVE THIS BAKERY!! SHe always gets a little roll and we munch on it in the car.. So we came home, went up the stairs AND JACKPOT!! She put the bag with bread ONT HE FLOOR to get her keys out.. REPEAT ON THE FLOOR ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? ON THE FLOOR? Exhibit A is what was left of the baguette after I SNATCHED THE TOP( and maybe a bit more) OFF THE TOP and ate it really really fast. PL2 said I looked like a snake eating something large... I sort of didn't want to eat it slowly because welll YOU KNOW WHY so i kind of didn't chew it!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA but then Archie looked like he was going to cry because he didn't get any so she had to give him a piece...... and that is what was
left....

Hello everyone noooo we haven't left but we have been very busy and we were having such problems with blogger that we took a rest and now we are back. We survived Hurricane Irene(Archie kind of slept through it and I was busy baking and stuff) Here I am chewing on my farting ball(yep that is what it sounds like hee hee) You mya notice a RAT YES I SAID RAT under my leg... Well we have been a bit busy.... Our hockey team the Boston Bruins have been in a championship the last couple of weeks.....

AND THEY WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the teams logo.......

And this is the Stanley Cup. Each year it goes to the team that has won and they keep it until the next championship.....The whole team gets their names on it..Each player gets to keep it for one day and they do all kinds of fun things with it( like take it to the hospitals so the kids can see it and they take it all over town to different places. The cup itself has a lot of mystique and is most beloved here in the USA and in Canada

It is called The Stanley Cup because of Lord Stanley a Governor General in Canada in1892 He donated it as a hockey award and VOILA the beginning of the Stanley Cup!

AND NOW WE GET TO KEEP IT FOR A YEAR!!!! We were not really supposed to win and were a bit of the underdog so that makes it even more special!

This is Timmy Thomas the Goal tender( I have a little crush on him and so does Lacie hee hee)

So we have these cool Duck Boats that take tourists all around the city and then convert into boats and go into the water! And they put the team into these boats and had a parade all over the city!!!

Pl2 FLEW out to get shirts this morning but they didn't have bandannas for us ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Archie loves this player Chara because he is 6 foot 9 which is really big for a hockey player and Archie thinks that is cool. Now you know we are an avid sports town and an avid sports family.And since 2002 we have won SEVEN championships amongst all of our sports teams!!!!

Our beloved Celtics basketball won one( I have a little crush on Kevin Garnett who is holding the trophy hee hee)

Our beloved Red Sox won 2( of course with a lot of our help)

Our football team the Patriots have won three( and everyone knows Archie played a BIG hand in that)This coach Belichik with Tom Brady the quarterback( I have a little crush on him too )

For our darling Butchy

Our darling boy Butchy is crossing over the Bridge today. He will be met by his darling sister Snickers and all of our pals and friends that are there. He knows we will take care his Mama and Papa and Katy. So at 5 pm today send a kiss up to help Butchy feel all of our love and to help give his Mama strength. We have very very sad and heavy hearts today and words can not adequately day what we feel, but we think this Navajo prayer says it all....... God speed little buddy.....

The Royal Wedding

Archie here....Listen we are all abuzz over the Royal Wedding as we are going to be attending...We being a large fox terrier delegation and some friends........ And our pal Eric is planning the whole thing for us.... You will be able to see pictures HOT OFF OF THE PRESS at Astas........... Our pal Eric has set the whole thing up(even where our tent is going to be on route.) WE are so excited we can't wait!! Archie of course with his amazing skills was asked by Prince Charles to do a little music so he is going to play both the tuba and accordion at the same time( Aunt Ami did this picture of him She is the only one he will sit still for)Really he has been practicing this for MONTHS......

Agatha is not writing( like she usually does and hogs it all the time) as she simply can not decide what to wear... and here is a little secret.. She was asked to help design THE GOWN!! All Iknow is that it has real dog bones sewn into it all over the dress. She was a little worried because it has been a bit rainy here and she may have gotten a little bit of mud on the dress but really who will see it...

Yes of course I will be wearing my Prince outfit to one of the twelve thousand events......

Well of COURSE i will be wearing this...

She thought her Princess outfit would fit right in......

Well it took its time but spring is finally here!! Look at this pretty island!!!

And we LOVE forsythia!!!

So I was hanging out (on the pillow. It makes me look higher plus SO much more comfortable)and thinking what should we do on this lovely day.

(I have been in a bit of a quandary as one of my toys is on top of that bookcase and I CAN NOT figure out how to get it........)PL1 gave us a bath and a cut... so we had to do the following........

AND we got LOVELY new collars.You can't really see mine as I kept moving and PL2 gave up but it has peace and love signs on it...

Archie's has little bones on his..And of course what better thing to do on a spring day but PLAY TENNIS!!!! Archie as you can see below is REALLY into this....and I play in my own little way...

Another sure sign of spring?? THE BOSTON MARATHON!! Here are Archie and PL1 watching the runners.... Well PL1 is watching it.. Arch is kind of looking the wrong way... Some fellows from Kenya won and two of them(first and second place) in BROKE A RECORD!!!!(Archie says he trained them but I am not 100% sure about this...)

Well we are thrilled to pieces that spring is here... have lots to look forward to(the Red Sox getting better, the Celtics in the playoffs, and the Bruins.... GEESH who thought they would come back!!!!.......) We are going to do some earthdog!!! and PL2 is going to look into tracking classes( it will be like Sherlock Holmes)WOOHOO so I must soon start my training with my coach/ brother.. if I can get him away from the TV and the new show about cupcakes......

YOO HOOO!!! We are back in full force!!!!!!!

HELLOOOOOOOO!! Here we are back after a long long winter.......This was a very cold and snowy one but things are looking up..we are back to having adventures, the Boston Marathon is this Monday and the Red Sox are playing(if you want to call it that...) Sooooooo for our first adventure, we ran into the car with PL1+2 and went to THE FARM!!!!!!!!!! Now many of you know that PL1+2 get vegetables every summer.This winter they also got a winter share and they had to go and get the second to the last bunch of stuff AND WE GOT TO GO!!!!!! Now the farm kind of doesn't look like a working farm yet but Arch and I thought we had better check it out....

Arch was looking for our farmer buddy Chris but he couldn't see him.....

I said forget that THIS PLACE SMELLS FABULOUS LETS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arch thought he heard something under this thing....(Pl2 was having a bird thinking WHAT IF IT MOVES OR SOMETHING(we really are city folk)

HA HAHAHAHAH WHAT IF HE DID GET STUCK!!!!!!

I of course had no time for that There was lots of other stuff to do......

You might be wondering what is in a winter share? Wellll we got onions and potatoes and THIS dried black beans!!!!

AND POPCORN!!!!! great to catch mid air while they are eating it.. SOME of us are very good at it and SOME of us aren't

and if that was not enough we went to the egg place.. What is an egg place? They have chickens and eggs and stuff(PL2 doesn't like to look at all the chickens and stuff cuz then she can't eat the chicken(told ya... city folk...) but there was something AMAZING there that I saw..

I really had to stretch to see........

ALMOST A MONTH?????WE HAVEN'T BEEN HERE IN ALMOST A MONTH???? Geesh,although not a lot has been happening here cuz it has been FREEZING.We thought it was warming up and we have seen crocuses and daffs's little heads poke up.. and then today it is 23 degrees..... SO we have not been our usual active selves.. We thought we would fill you in what we have been doing this last month....

Archie loves to help out PL2 with the chores and told her he would help with the laundry

We like to help out in the kitchen and of course do ALOT of taste tasting when PL2 cooks....

Well.............A girl needs her beauty sleep

Apparently so does a boy.......We look like little brown puff balls as we need a bath and we need a grooming but they say they are waiting for the weather to warm up a little( yeah right..)

I am always on the alert for outside activities

Arch thought he would catch up on a little reading this winter...

And really tried to digest it......

An Idita Walk in the Mud

As you all know we signed up to walk the Idita Walk(see here to find out more http://www.idita-walk.com/idw/Index.asp) This isn't hard for us at all as we walk a lot,most of the days, unless it is snowing, or raining a lot, or plows happen to go by.......... But today was a gorgeous spring day(Aggie darling,PL2 here....Uhmmm it is 34 degrees out today..just saying) As I, AGATHA was saying my brother and I decided to take a walk on this lovely spring day. Here is a short video of us doing the Idita Walk together

What I had been doing prior to our walk was thinking of what we should do today.....

My brother had had OTHER ideas(this is a box of peanut butter cookies that was ON THE TABLE.PL2 heard a bit of a crash and found this box a little chewed.He was having some trouble getting into the box.... WHAT IS IT WITH HIM AND PEANUT BUTTER??

That is when I thought we should go on a walk..... to see this...THE PART OF WINTER WE HATE THE MOST>>THE DIRTY SNOW

Archie wanted to park here(that sign was there because the snow was so high and it had been halfway into the street!)

So a million months ago( well Sept to be exact) PL2 planted lots of these and daffodils by a tree that is in the front of our house. She had a few left and she remembered something that her favorite gardener Alan Titchmarsh once said which was to layer extras in a pot and bring it inside....... Then they will come up earlier than spring to treat you and give you hope!!!!!!!!!! .LOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now yesterday and today it has been warm and the snow is starting to melt a little......

Archie wanted a closer look........

He asked PL2 how that happened....

Then he sat down to think about it......(he looks very fluffy because we just had a bath yesterday)

Waiting for spring

So imagine our surprise when yesterday it was 45 degrees out! WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!! PL2 grabbed our leashes and off we went..........only there was one small problem..IT WAS MUDLAND...ok we didn't care it was nice out and today we are going to get baths( so we can look nice while we watch the terriers on the Westminster Dog Show tonite) and then BOOM...today it is 20 degrees again and freezing and windy..... so we will wait...... it is on its way............

Archie says he doesn't know how much longer he can wait....

Even staring out the window doesn't bring it faster

So what is left???

Hello everyone..Agatha here to tell you about our weather. Now this was supposed to be a post about what we did after last weeks MAJOR storm..which I will do.however right now at this minute while I am typing WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF ANOTHER ONE.. the stupid TV weathermen are all saying it is a one two punch.. which means 10 inches today and ten inches tommorow. You can imagine what this is doing to my brother. At the moment he is fine because the plows haven't come out yet.In preparation he has his paws up and is sipping one of Lacie's extra power smoothies and he is talking to Mango on my cell phone..... Arch says he is going to give someone a one two punch...

Daunting isn't it? WHERE ARE THEY GOING TO PUT TWENTY MORE INCHES? sorry...got a little carried away

So listen, we had to rush and place our entry for the cracker dog section of Mango Minster....Now come on , did you think the King and Queen of CRACKER DOG TERRIERS would pass this up? The only problem was that in the 8000(no kidding that is how many she really has) pictures of us PL2 was having trouble finding the ones she wanted.... When we read the descriptions of the category (I read them aloud to PL2 and Archie) Archie kept saying Check, Check Check.. WE PASSED EVERY description!!! We think this little film sums it all up and we know it is one you have already seen but we think it is the essence of cracker dog.........

If we win I might wear this to pick up my award.......

This is hard to believe really but PL1 and 2 had dogs before us....The dog right before us was called Reggie and he was a Welsh Terrier..........

He was named after Reggie Jeeves from PG Wodehouse (our names come from Wodehouse as well!)

He was a great pup we are told and beloved by all.......

LOOK there is he doing the SAME THING WE DO!!!!!!

He slept JUST LIKE ARCHIE!!! In fact sometimes Archie acts JUST LIKE REGGIE!!!! And he was naughty like Arch as well( on the frig there is a half eaten $20 dollar bill. figure it out)

He loved to sit where I sit and look out and people called him the Mayor of the street...

See the upper right picture of him?? That was PL1+2's favorite picture of him. It was a lovely day and they had had a lovely walk and life was good. You could see it in his eyes. So when PL1's birthday came around PL2 thought it would be nice to get Aunty Ami paint that picture for PL1.... because Aunty Ami paints the most beautiful pictures in the world.... And PL2 had her send it to her downstairs neighbor so PL1 wouldn't see it.. And when PL2 went downstairs to open it with her neighbor there(who also loved Reggie) they both cried when they opened it because it was like he was right them again with them.....and he had that wonderful look in his eyes.. she got it just right.....

They haven't framed it yet because they are trying to get just the right frame......But they feel like like he is back home with them... and that makes them and us very happy. Thank you Aunty Ami,from the bottom of our hearts.

FIRST BOSTON TOUR OF 2011!!!!!

So every year Boston has something called First Night(Lots of cities followed our lead and have their own First Nights now) There are early fireworks(for the children) and late fireworks( for the grownups) and a GAZILLION things to do(parades, singers, dancer, mime, things to buy and play with,we could go on and on..) So PL1+2 decided to go downtown early before the actual festivities started to see the famous ice sculptures..( of note.. it was 50 degrees out yesterday!!!!)They wanted to come home and have Chinese food because they are old fuddy duds and don't do huge crowds well...) We didn't go because we got up early and went to our Arboretum for an early morning romp in the snow and we were pooped.....

This is the Brattle Book Shop..It has nothing to do with NYE however they can't go anywhere without going to a book store and this is one of their favorites

It has all these neat books outside as well......

People are started to come in to the city early.. There are trillions of people in the city starting around 6pm..... doesn't the State House look pretty?

It has been a difficult year for many reasons and we hope that the new year brings all of you love, hope, health, happiness and peace(and Archie says a couple of extra treats and cookies maybe) We are proud to be part of such a wonderful community of people all brought together by the love of their animals. We have been very busy lately and have been obtaining evidence to back a case that Archie is working on which concerns areas that do not allow dogs. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? NOT ALLOW US??? On reviewing the data he has for his case so far I am not 100% sure he really has supporting data but it is a case in progress( kind of like him..hee hee)

So our first feature presentation gives you a demonstration of what we are talking about......

Our next presentation is not really part of his case but a film demonstrating synchronzied squirrel hunting

An A+A Friday

So it is the day after Thanksgiving and we are EXHAUSTED.. really it takes it out of you eating like that.. PL2 had to work but everyone at work brought a dish in so they had a good spread and PL1 went over to the rest of the family... That left Archie and me at home... Now PL1 left the TV on so we could watch the Patriots football game, and he left on the radio , so we could listen to the football game.... and Archie? Well you know he loves his cooking shows and he thought it would be a perfect time to try out new recipes.. on me.. before he tries them out on any one else.. and really it was pretty good. His top dish( well in my mind anyway) was his Surprise Stuffie dessert. This looked like a stuffie( you could almost hear it squeaking) but inside it was a baked Alaska.. Really he out did himself.. So after all that cooking and eating and football we decided to spend a quiet day today... So this is what we did....

I started out by taking a little nap on the window sill and checking on the work men outside( they did a great job)

I really had to pay attention to the workers so Archie decided he would help PL2 make the bed...

And we ended the day by trying out some line dancing....(don't look on the top of my crate, it is miles and miles of papers I put together for Berties next class..)

HOOO BOY........... Now many of you know that we can be a bit naughty.... but one of us is naughtier than the other.. and his name begins with an A and the next letters are RCHIE....Remember how he ate PL2's knitting project? and the bag of brown sugar?all over the kitchen?) and the GUM? and the bag of recycling which he spread all over the kitchen? really I could go ON AND ON... well this time he went over board....AND CROSSED THE LINE.....Sit back and I will give you an reenactment of what occurred at house of A+A

It was a lovely New England fall day( I am doing a reenactment so I thought I would just put on one or two trees..)

It was 6 am and PL1 was taking us out( listen it is supposed to be dark here... REALLY dark so use your imagination...After we did our business Pl1 went and put it in the "honey pot"(that is what we call it..hee hee)The honey pot is in our little garage at the back of the building....

Hee hee I am trying to really make it life like...Now notice how he has the TWO leashes...... this is important to the reenactment...

He walked down the driveway to the front door.....

I always go to the top of the inside stairs and then Archie goes(he kind of has to wind himself up to do the stairs )

This is where he winds himself up

The he puts his feet on the top steps(this is a trick he learned in puppy kindergarten and he still feels inclined to do this.. listen it's Archie...) and they carry him up the steps because he can't do a lot of steps cuz of his back....... only something was very very different.. When I got to the to of the vestibule steps Pl turned around and NO ARCHIE.... Now sometimes he is a little slow and he is outside the front door which is what PL1 thought... so he opened the front door.... AND NO ARCHIE.....ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Now PL1 is flipping out and goes flying out the front door and goes down the drive way to the honey pot...NO ARCHIE............PL1 realized the leash must have dropped....

This is the alley behind our building........... Below is a real life video REENACMENT of what we think happened(while you are watching visually remove Pl1 from the movie...)HE RAN DOWN THE BACK ALLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BY HIMSELF......WITHOUT US..... IN THE DARK......TO THE BIG STREET WHERE THERE ARE CARS AND THEN THE BIGGER STREET WHERE THERE IS THE TROLLEY..PL1 WAS HYPERVENTILATING

..Now Pl1 and I were running EVERYWHERE and PL1 was shouting AGATHA FIND ARCHIE WHERE IS HE????? I WAS TRYING BUT I DIN'T KNOW..so I said PL GET THE CAR GET THE CAR,, So we ran up the stairs and got the keys and ran down the stairs and started to drive around....I was shouting out the window WHERE ARE YOU ????? and I told Pl to go where we usually walk in the morning.. so we went down this street.....

And we thought we saw something white.. AND THERE HE WAS!! HIS LEASH WAS UNDER THIS ROCK and he was sitting with his ears back and I think he might have cried a little because he said he was really scared AND HE CAN NOT DO ANYTHING WITHOUT THE THREE OF US THERE......(how did his leash get under that rock??)NOW PL2 was not home because she was on the trolley on her way to work ... and she did not know about this until we picked her up at work and when we got to the part where he was sitting with his ears back SHE BURST INTO TEARS and Pl1 said HOW DO YOU THINK I FELT?? So below is NOT a reenactment but what really happened when I told him THAT HE MUST NEVER EVER DO THAT AGAIN EVER.....

So this has been an icky week for us.... Archie started it all with throwing up and some rea ( this is where the new bed comes in) and then he got better and then he got rea, and then I got rea....Get the picture?? Suffice to say we are both better, PL2 is a lot poorer(well.... he had to go and see his Vet and stuff and they had to do tests and stuff..all of which were fine....) Which brings me to this story....

He had a little uhhhmmmmmm accident......ON MY FAVORITE BED....

so PL2 felt bad so she went out to get me another(I wanted the one that looks like a sofa with a high back and the cute little cushions? You know the one in the catalog?? But she blew me off.....) So she says she can't get me one and not him( really why not? I didn't wreck his bed....) so she got each one of us this bed....

Boring isn't it? You might wonder why she got it when there is a crate right next door?? Go ask her....

I sort off like the crate(as long as my favorite blanket is in it and I have a book and a night light and a puzzle book if I am not tired)

Even this is ok( isn;t that colorfull stuff on the floor cute? It is padding so when we jump on and off the bed 12000 times we don't hurt ourselves..and PL2 says it goes so nicley with the decor..

I mean Arch said he was quite comfortable on the pillow that was on the floor..

In a pinch if I HAVE to sit next to HIM this will do...

I like to lounge up here

Sometimes I let him join me.....

But not all the time as you can see what might happen

And the floor is ok too...but she feels like we needed a new one so what can we do???

So we got our space and here we are. All we have to figure out is the new system to post and we are all set..so some of our pics and movies are a little out of place but we think you will get the idea... This happened about four thousand years ago(well it seems like that....) and it is a lovely fall day in our Arboretum....

The movie that you are about to see is what to do in the car when it is a beautiful day and all the windows are open so you can smell the air.. and don't worry they were both in the front seat so only one is filming and the other driving...

So PL2 had to let us use her credit card and we had to buy more( hee hee wait till she sees the bill Archie bought some stuff to go along with his cooking shows.... So PL1+2 kept talking about how they were going to watch the opening game of Patriots football SOMEWHERE ELSE....ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? WE LOVE FOOTBALL.... Why can't we go with them? So my brother said wellllllll...... let's have a little game here in the kitchen.Archie said we could take the recycling bag of papers on top of my crate and toss it around a little like a football...

Why do I listen to him? He always gets me into trouble

What we found out is that a bag of recycling papers doesn't toss really easily and it kind of spilled out....... all over the place...plus when he went to go and get my pass he kind of spread it all over the place...

I can not believe it broke like that...(hee hee)

Hey is that the magazine I was looking for?

JACKPOT THAT LOOKS LIKE THE CAKE BOX THAT HAD THAT GOOD APPLE PIE IN IT..I mean look out flattened out my pass got...

How to begin preparing for the next season

So today is a brisk cool day. PL1 says each season gives you a preview of the next so this got us thinking that we should start thinking of autumn..... Archie said he wanted to try out sleeping and looking out of the window at the same time...

He tried a different angle but was having a little trouble..........

He also wanted to get in shape for helping with making the bed when PL2 does laundry.....

I wanted to see how sleeping outside of my crate worked while at the same time bringing out my little blanket half way....

He got the angle down just right in this picture...

And of course my brother( who really has these techniques down rather well) is demonstrating being asleep while making everyone think that you are really with the program and listening to everything they say....
These techniques can be a little difficult so contact us if you need any tips.....

STEP UP STEP UP LAST SUMMER BOSTON TOUR!!

Hi everyone!! We are sooo late because PL2 is having trouble with this new blogger sytem(what else is new) So we are taking you on our last summer tour to a place we haven't
yet taken you...South Boston, to a fabulous place called Castle Island. As you can see it is south of Boston ( hee hee that is why it is South Boston)

We are going to go on the Harbor Walk...this is on Castle Island and it is 22 acres and right on the the ocean so there is LOTS to see....

This is Fort Independence.. The first fort was built here in the 1600s and there have been several since then.... The forts were used to protect the city in many situations.

We were really exited to be here......

As we were walking to the entrance of the Fort I started to tell Archie what PL1 had been telling me about all of the ghost stories and stuff that are told about the Fort.

He of course IMMEDIATELY fainted..... and said that he remembered he had an appointment and had to go home...

Ha hahahah it is sooo easy......

And this is the inside of the entrance. You can eat at the picnic tables knowing you are protected by those big canons on the wall!

So we were all ready to go in and then we saw the sign for no dogs... Archie said OH WELL GOTTA GO THEN...TOO BAD..... and flew out...

Of course no trip is complete with PL1+2 without food.............

I don't know how many times I have to tell him that the BEST spot for action is right underneath them....

But he always insists to go the right and act all cute and stuff..

I ALWAYS get more stuff this way........

OF COURSE we had to go in for a dip....it was a little rocky but who cares...

These are the harbor islands.. You can get over to them by boat.

You can barely see but there is a jetty that goes out where you can walk and you are RIGHT in the middle of the ocean!!

I of course brought us all ice cold water as it was hot and we all sat and watched the ocean and had a little drink......

I was talking at great lengths to this kid about what a great place this is to live and how we sort of have it made ..... We made a panoramic movie of the harbor islands for you to enjoy in case you don't have ocean where you live.........This won't be our last tour, just our last summer tour (boohoo) But we will have many more to come!!)

We know we say that each place we go is the GREATEST place we have ever gone to,BUT THIS????THIS TOPS THE CAKE!!!! We were all on vacation last week and we got to do LOTS of stuff( well you already saw the football practice..) and WE WENT HERE!!! To New Hampshire to the Kancamagus Highway in the White Mountains

This has to be the most beautiful place in the world..People come from everyone to hike and camp and ski( NOOOO not now....) and just be with nature. And in the fall when the leaves change it is almost like being in heaven.. So off we went....

WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So there are places to stop and park and trails to walk and hike and that is exactly what we did!!!

PL2 says these pictures do not really do justice to the beauty of the place...

Now at this next place I was really taken aback...Pl2 says I had a Zen moment....

First Arch checked to make sure we were going the right way....

We hiked and hiked and then THIS..... WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...

You really can not tell how HUGE it was!!!

I WAS SPELLBOUND!! I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS!! Pl2 could not get me away and I kept staring and staring....... and then she said I had a goofy look on my face....

This was the way down.....

On to the next point which was this.. Now this really does not show you the beauty of the White Mountains and of how high we were..

Next stop......

Off we go!!!

Tra la lala la ..WHAT THE HECK IS THIS???????????????

ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? BEARS??? MOOSES???? You must know that of course.. as soon as he saw this? HE FAINTED...

And if you were camping they gave you a demonstration of how you would keep your food up away from the bear....

After he woke up ... OFF WE GO!!!! To a suspension bridge...

Archie thought he saw a fish jumping out of the water..

Well needless to say we were EXHAUSTED with all that hiking and swimming and playing and zen moments and stuff...Archie curled up with PL1's shirt...

I was trying to help guide them home but I couldn't keep my eys open becasue I was dreaming of this....

Hi everyone!! We have had an unbelievable week which has been ACTION PACKED because PL1+2 were both on vacation AT THE SAME TIME!! SO we did a THOUSAND things all of which we will show you! First up on the agenda FOOTBALL!!! Now you know we are major sports fans here( after all I have a red sox leash and Archie has the Patriots) So PL1+2 read that the Patriots( that is our football team here), were starting training camp and you could go and watch them( some of you may remember that Archie has been of GREAT help to our coach here and coach always calls on Arch for help..)Here we are at the stadium...

They had these signs up in case you forgot it was training camp..

The SECOND that they heard we were there( well really Arch is the big man here..) we were escorted to the VIP section...

LOOK THERE THEY ARE ........PLAYING FOOTBALL!!!!!

That is Tom Brady our quarter back.. All the ladies( well maybe me too) have a little crush on him because he is so dreamy... but he just got married and has a little baby boy now...

Look there he is again and now COACH (in the shorts and gray sweatshirt) and Tom Brady are coming over BECAUSE THEY SEE ARCHIE and haven't seen him in awhile...

This is the actual stadium where they really play in season...

We made PL2 take a picture of our feet in case she was going to buy something for us and needed our measurements..

After we watched them play for a while we went to the pro shop and bought stuff( we got placements for under our bowls so when we spit stuff on the floor and then pick it up to eat it it is on that.. really we do not know what the big deal is.. doesn't everyone do that??)

We had a really fun time and now we are all excited and pumped up for some football...LET THE GOOD TIMES BEGIN!!!!!!!!!!! We will tell you all about our hiking trip to New Hampshire next!!!

ANOTHER GREATEST DAY OF OUR LIVES!!

So Arch and I were kind of sitting around and PL2 kept saying this is going to be one of your greatest days!!( Those are the days when you are sooo happy you can"t stop smiling and stuff you know them.....) So we got into the car to go to our favorite place in the world......THE ARBORETUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I get out of the car.... and I am really really staring at something......

I was thinking to myself, geesh that really really looks like someone I know.....

ARE YOU KIDDING ME???!!!!!!! IT'S NORWOOD!!!!!!!!!

We went to go say hi and then ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? IT IS MOMA.... JAKE AND FERGI'S PL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WITH NORWOOD!!! We knew Jake and Fergi are going EVERYWHERE and had just been to Asta's and Mich and Maggies BUT THEN THEY CAME TO US AND NORWOOD CAME TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To tell you Archie was besides himself was an understatement... He rushed over to show Norwood the sign....

I was saying hi to Jake...

So was Archie... and Fergie is right next to Jake...

Norwood thought it would be fun to get all of terriers together in front of the sign.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? ASK 4 TERRIERS TO STAY STILL??

Now one of the major reasons Jake needed to come to Boston was that so I could give him some pointers on digging..( I can dig a mean hole if I say so myself) It seems he is on the cusp of getting it but needs a little instruction.. Here I am with his darling sister who was telling me how to approach this.....

I made a hole here for him to see how it is done and Moma and Fergie are pointing to it..( Archie is in the background looking for his idol Norwood)

We were all so excited we didn't know which way to go ...but Norwood was our fearless leader...

Now we HAD to take everyone to our favorite grassy area... and here is Archie' s idol doing his thing...... Now Jake and Fergie also had a BLAST here and did something for the first time but we will let Moma tell you about that......

So after the 80 mile walk we took them on( well they had to see everything..) we were taking a little rest....

Norwood was SHOCKED...ARE YOU KIDDING ME???WE ARE DONE???

We all turned to Moma for the answer( well really I was taking in a little sun here with my eyes closed..)

So we thought we better take them to one of our swimming spots..( if you look closely you will notice that the only one allowed off lead is Arch's idol.......)

Can you see me up front practicing an Esther Williams move?And look at Fergi go! She had such a wonderfull time swimming...

BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE!! We had a picnic!!!!! Once again Norwood was a little shocked by the crackerjack terrier behavior....

HAHAHAHAH look at them( I am under the table as everyone knows they drop TONS of stuff... Norwood told Arch he would do better.......

Like this.... solo..........

Then we doggies all had a gigantic rest and PL1+2 gave one of their action packed see Boston tours with PL1 narrating...... and they made Moma and Nina smell the Atlantic Ocean( Archie was SHOCKED to learn they don't have the Atlantic Ocean out west) and of course they ended their day with one of these....

And once again we learned that DWB people are the best in the world and that we love them very very much and that their puppies rule( but of course we already knew that...)
