ANOTHER GREATEST DAY OF OUR LIVES!!

So Arch and I were kind of sitting around and PL2 kept saying this is going to be one of your greatest days!!( Those are the days when you are sooo happy you can"t stop smiling and stuff you know them.....) So we got into the car to go to our favorite place in the world......THE ARBORETUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I get out of the car.... and I am really really staring at something......

I was thinking to myself, geesh that really really looks like someone I know.....

ARE YOU KIDDING ME???!!!!!!! IT'S NORWOOD!!!!!!!!!

We went to go say hi and then ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? IT IS MOMA.... JAKE AND FERGI'S PL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WITH NORWOOD!!! We knew Jake and Fergi are going EVERYWHERE and had just been to Asta's and Mich and Maggies BUT THEN THEY CAME TO US AND NORWOOD CAME TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To tell you Archie was besides himself was an understatement... He rushed over to show Norwood the sign....
I was saying hi to Jake...

So was Archie... and Fergie is right next to Jake...

Norwood thought it would be fun to get all of terriers together in front of the sign.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? ASK 4 TERRIERS TO STAY STILL??

Here is Nina with Jake....

Now one of the major reasons Jake needed to come to Boston was that so I could give him some pointers on digging..( I can dig a mean hole if I say so myself) It seems he is on the cusp of getting it but needs a little instruction.. Here I am with his darling sister who was telling me how to approach this.....
I made a hole here for him to see how it is done and Moma and Fergie are pointing to it..( Archie is in the background looking for his idol Norwood)

We were all so excited we didn't know which way to go ...but Norwood was our fearless leader...
Now we HAD to take everyone to our favorite grassy area... and here is Archie' s idol doing his thing...... Now Jake and Fergie also had a BLAST here and did something for the first time but we will let Moma tell you about that......

So after the 80 mile walk we took them on( well they had to see everything..) we were taking a little rest....

Norwood was SHOCKED...ARE YOU KIDDING ME???WE ARE DONE???

We all turned to Moma for the answer( well really I was taking in a little sun here with my eyes closed..)

So we thought we better take them to one of our swimming spots..( if you look closely you will notice that the only one allowed off lead is Arch's idol.......)

Can you see me up front practicing an Esther Williams move? And look at Fergi go! She had such a wonderfull time swimming...

BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE!! We had a picnic!!!!! Once again Norwood was a little shocked by the crackerjack terrier behavior....

HAHAHAHAH look at them( I am under the table as everyone knows they drop TONS of stuff... Norwood told Arch he would do better.......

Like this.... solo..........

Then we doggies all had a gigantic rest and PL1+2 gave one of their action packed see Boston tours with PL1 narrating...... and they made Moma and Nina smell the Atlantic Ocean( Archie was SHOCKED to learn they don't have the Atlantic Ocean out west) and of course they ended their day with one of these....

And once again we learned that DWB people are the best in the world and that we love them very very much and that their puppies rule( but of course we already knew that...)

How freaking cool to see another reunion - and how frustrating it is to be stuck in the northern corner of New England - I miss all of the fun!

Norwood- what a great name. Made us chuckle - the other Norwood is a far from leafy suburb of London.

I am so dang mad that mom didn't bring me out to the ARb to meet you all - stoopid shmoopid 20 miler I can do that in my sleep!

I think this is entirely unforgiveable. She deserves to be hobbling around in pain/soreness after not taking me to spend the day with you guys.

harumph.

Oh that all looks SO much fun. And Norwood blended in so well. Perhaps he could be considered for 'honorary WFT' status?
Just a thought.

Wooo!! Funny that. Sent myself totally wired seeing all you square pals together. (Norwood yep - he's an honary square on account of his alter ego Mr B, Bertie).

Three cheers and high fives for DWB pups and the leggeds- I know they are the best!!! You and your PL's showed your guests the bestest time too in your Arbour Eat Em and on the famous Boston tour.

Yep you Famous Five (hmm... reminds me of book I once ate) made Mom all teary thinking of the sight of twenty little stiff leggeds fox trotting along on the many mile walkies. If you have a video send me a copy huh Arch? Could use it in certain situations for distraction if you get my drift.....

Could hardly believe my peepers at the PL's letting all of you skinny dip together in the stream...haaa!!! No wonder you all had to keep your leads on...

Hope you managed to teach Jake and Fergie how to score some of the liplicking lovely lobster before they left for their next adventure?

Wiry love and squillions of square kisses Eric xxxx

Had to delete my previous comment on account of the billion and twenty one typo's Mom made. Sorry...

What an amazingly fun time! We're still recovering ... been sleeping for nearly two days now! We've got some serious business to attend to once we get home. We've been watching Moma download all those gazillion pictures your PL2 took, thanks to the fact that Moma forgot to get the other bazillion photos off of her camera. (She says to say thanks!) One of these days we'll pull it together to post from our side of the Mississippi River, and tell our sectret about the time that Fergi ...

Well. You know. We all had a GREAT time. And yes! We understand that you managed to sneak in a couple of lobsters for US! Woohooo! Life continues to be MORE than good!

Missing you. And wishing you all weren't so far away.

Luv
Jake and Fergi and Family

What a pawsome day! We didn't know Norwood would be there too! If we had known, our mom would have tried to get Jake and Fergi's moma to dognap him for her! She just thinks he's tooooo cute!

Ah, man! I still can't believe we missed Fergi and Jake when they were here in NYC and they were right across the street from us! Probably read a few of my pee-mails! Hard to tell you four apart! You should have pulled a fast done and done the old switcheroo when the 2-leggeds weren't looking. Did Norwood find any frogs in that stream? Oh, and would you mind sending Mom a plateful of lobster? Mmmmmmm!

Your pal,

Petey

Wow you guys have lots of fun! Sometimes Mom brings another doggie over to spend the day or so. We like to show them the ropes in the back yard and then we have fun looking for little critters...
Getting to an arboretum or anywhere that allows doggies is tough around here!
